My name is Jim Goddard. I am the J in J and R Fine Landscaping. The R is my brother Robert. Robert has moved on and is working in the Nursery and Garden Center industry as well as franchising. I graduated from UNH in 1983 with a degree in Forestry. I started in this field in 1983 working for my brother Tom who owned Goddard Brothers Landscaping and he moved on with the purchase of Eric's Greenhouse and Garden Center in Reading.
I have been working in the industry ever since and I have owned J and R Fine Landscaping since 2004. We currently have 13 members on the staff and most of our work revolves around installing beautiful walkways, walls, patios and outdoor living areas but we also maintain on average 60-70 mostly residential accounts as well as a few commercial accounts.
For example, we have been taking care of Liberty Chevrolet in Wakefield MA for as long as we have been in business. I am also very involved in mentoring children. I have a 6th degree black belt in karate and have been teaching children karate at the Academy of Traditional Karate in Wilmington MA for over 25 years.
