We had our opener replaced with KTM and are very happy with the service. When I called to get a quote, the person I spoke to gave me some tips and wanted me to buy a quality machine, regardless of which company we went with. I called 3 companies to get quotes. They were all roughly the same cost, but I went with KTM because of that extra level of customer service. Our install went great and we are very happy with our new opener. Mike had me fixed up in no time and I found their service rates extremely reasonable! Very friendly, very fast and a great price equals happy customer with a working garage door now! High recommend!

I've used Liftmaster products for over 30 years. The products have always been great, but having a good dealer who knows the products and provides top-notch service and support is equally important. We just replaced two aging Liftmaster 1280R's with Liftmaster WLED openers. The crew replaced everything - wiring, mounting hardware, wall units, sensors, everything - and they did a great job. I've used KTM a couple of times and I am serious when I say they are straight forward and honest. They did a very fairly priced and honest repair on my home in Spring, Tx a few years back and then I moved into Houston and because of the previous job they did, I tried them again to repair my fiancé's garage door in the Heights. She had a company come out before talking to me and they tried to tell her she needed a new opener, springs, rails the whole nine yards. The spring on my garage door broke early Saturday morning. I called KTM at 7 am, and they had a technician out the same day before noon! Mike was very professional, quickly changed the spring, and lubricated all the moving parts. He offered to replace the old rollers since they were worn, and tightened the chain drive while he was there. The garage door is much quieter now than I thought it could possibly be, with less than an hour's work. Highly recommend KTM!!

Excellent customer service!! Technicians, Lester and Tim, arrived in a timely manner and explained clearly what the issue was. They were in and out in less than an hour, everything was fairly priced, and I’m left with a fully functioning garage door! Would happily use KTM again!

Horrible service. My home warranty company contracted them out for garage door repair. The technician came out and diagnosed the problem as the spring and not covered under my warranty. O.K. I still need my garage door repaired. ( Already paid the 75.00 service fee via C.C). Technician quoted an additional $275.00 but told my wife he must order the parts and return in less than a week.
I called another Garage Door company @ 3:00 and asked for help. Their Technician was on my property in 45 minutes...not the three-hour window given by KTM. The repair was made in one hour for a total of $220.00

Main spring on my garage door broke this morning. Two hours after I called Mike and Bryan showed up and quickly replaced the spring, lubed the door and ch coed operation. Prompt, polite and effective.

Unfortunately we recently needed to replace our garage door. As frustrating as it can be to get hit with this unplanned expense and inconvenience, the KTM team really showed up. They promptly had Mike (red shirt) come out to assess and provide a quote. Mike was knowledgeable, and helped guide us to the best option for our needs. The next day, Bryan and Mike (tall Mike, the castle and landscape charcoal artist) arrived to do the install. They make a great team. After an expert install, they took the extra time to cut out a painting my daughter had done on the inside of our old door. Very thoughtful

I would give zero stars but yelp doesn't allow it. Mike came out to look at garage door. He was sent by One Guard. First thing he said after I introduced myself to him was, "how did this happen?" I asked him what he meant by that because clearly if I was in the business of garage doors I wouldn't need anyone's help. I told him I opened up the garage door and that I saw a chain hanging. He then took three minutes to access the situation before calling One Guard claiming that this was "not normal". I again asked him what he meant by that which he responded with

My in laws house has wooden doors that require more knowledge. They came out weighed it and balanced it. After couple months the springs adjusted, they came back and fixed it (nc).

Yesterday I requested them to go to my house and they came right out and took care of it.

Jim called me right away when I sent a query via Yelp requesting a quote to replace an old and weakened torsion spring.

BUT, his recommendation was just to apply some lubrication and wait until the spring snapped before replacing it. He then refused to answer my subsequent queries when I simply asked if it were possible to purchase the needed parts without labor. (I know that some companies will refuse to sell certain parts without installation, but usually they will at least say that, versus blowing off a Yelp Customer completely.)

I have used ktm garage door service for many years now..before I purchased my home, I rented here, and my landlord had called ktm on a few occasions for service, so i just continued to call ktm after I became the homeowner, as in my opinion, it pays to have consistency with whomever does service or repairs around the house..i have not had any bad experiences with them,as they have come out promptly,done what was needed,explained the charges and given me a receipt to sign..they do have 6 or 7 different servicemen,and most have been with them for a while as well..it is unfortunate there sre som bad

I have relied on KTM for garage door service at five houses since God was a teenager--actually 27 years--and they have never let me down. I stopped by the store yesterday afternoon to discuss a problem and they were out this morning and resolved it! And now I learn that they can help me with iron fencing. Wunderbar!

Do Not use this company. Jim the owner is very condescending.I I Ordered 4 remotes, Had them programmed, They Forgot to program my keypads, Came back and programmed. Fine. Now one of the new remotes I bought will not open garage, Called them back said it was basically my fault because system will not handle that many remotes, So why sell me 4 new remotes. Shocking lack of respect over the phone. Called to get information on how to sync my gate at home with a new car, and was treated to a mocking singsong voice as someone spoke to me the way one would speak to a child. I chose KTM based on the other positive yelp reviews and I was extremely happy with the service! My garage door would immediately go back up after closing so I needed someone to find the issue. They gave me a 90 minute window for arrival time and kept to their word on that. They found a minor problem that didn't require any parts and charged me a fair price. I'll use them from now on.
