Terraforma, greek for "land-forming", was founded in 1996 on the premise that a small but expert firm can produce outstanding design and provide highly personal service to a select group of clients on projects of any scale.
Our custom residential work is steeped in the rich traditions of the West Coast Modern style developed in the mid-century by such local architects Pietro Belluschi and John Yeon, and influenced by such national architects as Frank Lloydd Wright and Mies Van der Rohe, which is characterized by open floor plans, post and beam construction, large areas of glass, and naturally expressed native materials.

Dana's innovative work reflects the creative use of natural, sustainable materials that are non-toxic and are acquired locally.
