Since 1974, family-operated Sidney Cox Plumbing has provided skilled plumbing services to the residents of Austin, Texas. Started by Sidney Cox Senior in his carport, Sidney Cox Plumbing is now co-owned and co-operated by his sons Sidney Cox II and Scott Cox. In 1989, Sidney Cox II entered the business as a helper to his father, along with his brothers.
After two years of hard work, Sidney Cox II decided to broaden the business horizons of Sidney Cox Plumbing by studying accounting at Texas State University-San Marcos. In 1994, Sidney Cox returned to the family business and continued lending his support and expertise. To better serve their clients, Sidney Cox and his staff hold specialties in a number of appliances, such as Rinnai water heaters and backflow prevention assembly testers.
Sidney Cox and Scott Cox are as devoted to the Austin community as they are to their trade. Sidney Cox Plumbing has sponsored a golf team during the Coach Wade Pittsford Memorial Golf Classic, as well as the Hill Country Hurricanes baseball team.

I had them install a new sink. After pulling the old one out I realized that work as going to have to be done to the new sink to make it work. They went to another job and told me to call when I had the sink ready. After 30 mins I called back and they returned and finished the sink. Great job. Cleaned up after themselves. Highly, highly recommend.

Excellent in every way. I had them install a toilet I bought and had shipped to my home. They were smart enough to inspect the new toilet before removing the old, and it had been broken by the shippers. They did not charge me anything and when they came back to install the next one I got, they hit all the marks with an A+.

Please BEWARE! I had these guys out on the Fall and got slapped with a $356 dollar “ we can’t figure it out?” Bill. I had them out a second time today ( on a second try) and the plumber they sent out was beyond unqualified. He installed the kitchen faucet in the wrong direction and got aggravated when I asked for him to correct it. He kept trying to install the incorrect flange and drain cover because he was too lazy to find a clamp that “ was not on his truck” for the custom one that i ordered from Mountain Plumbing ( a company that he said he had never heard of). I asked them to leave

We've used Sidney Cox Plumbing several times to fix incorrect plumbing done by our original contractor as well as for clogged pipes. They are EXCELLENT!! Not only do they always try to fit you in right away if it's an emergency, but they're professional, good at their trade and charge a fair price. We feel so fortunate to have found them.

I own a service company of my own not plumbing, but Locksmith and I know how fast people can be to share the bad but very few take the time to tell the good.
I called Sidney on Saturday my son had called me to tell me the water heater had gone out at our home in Dripping Springs and Sidney couldn't get out on Saturday and I understand, but he had a plumber named Randy out first thing Monday morning and Randy did a great job!! If I ever need a plumber I will and have used Cox plumbing for my needs and the 3 times that they have done work for my wife and I, I have had ZERO problems.
