The new roof from Epic still leaking upstairs and downstairs. Is that supposed to happen?
An independent report provided by our insurance company noted errors/defects with the new roof installed by Epic.
Quoting from the independent report: " · 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" edge metal was used instead of 2" x 2", leaving gaps over the gutters. In order to remedy this, 2" x 2" should be used
· Counter flashings are too tight and not secured. Copper should be trimmed and secured ¾" off shingle
· Exposed unsealed nails are backing out, allowing flashing to lift

Everyone we had contact with at Epic roofing was professional and courteous. The installation of our new roof could not have gone any better. They addressed our concerns about adequate ventilation, and replaced our broken sky light as well. They even took care to make sure nails and other materials were cleaned up when they were finished. I would highly recommend Epic Roofing!

Epic Roofing provided outstanding service and did quality work on my home repairing my roof, gutters, and screens. Working with their team was a pleasure. They were honest and professional in their business dealings and were responsive to my time sensitive situation. They quickly prioritized the work and repairs that were needed on my house in order for me to meet the required deadlines. Last year, even though my roof turned out to be ok, they were honest and kind enough to double check and not charge me for false repairs. This year, they saw I needed a plumber to repair pipe affecting roof. Again, they were honest and did not rip me off. Great company!
