With our Fully Integrated Off-Site Solution(R) - FIOSS(R) - Entekra is changing the way America builds. Developed by the most experienced team in off-site construction, FIOSS by Entekra completely integrates concept, design and engineering with precision manufacturing under factory-controlled conditions to deliver all structural elements of a building to a job site for rapid assembly.
The result is a construction process that is faster, better, smarter, safer, and more sustainable than the inefficient traditional method of stick-framing. In the months it can take to complete a stick-framed house, FIOSS can frame an entire street of houses, while also delivering premium-quality structures and generating less waste.
Our mission at Entekra is to apply advanced and proven engineering and technology to increase the productivity and profitability for builders of residential and commercial projects. With process improvements and the optimal use of automation, off-site construction with FIOSS reduces total build time by 30 percent or more.

Entekra is a design, engineering and manufacturing company that provides a Fully Integrated Off-Site Solution(R) - FIOSS(R) - for both residential and commercial construction. A unique construction approach in the U.S. market, FIOSS by Entekra leverages the integration and application of software, engineering, technology and modern methods of construction (MMC).
A house being constructed with stick-framing is a common sight in the United States - nearly 90 percent of single-family residences are built in this manner. For home builders considering the transition to off-site construction, the prevalent and continued use of traditional construction methods may make them think, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."
With FIOSS, we leverage technologically advanced - and proven - construction methods that have been around the world for more than a half-century to effectively improve productivity, build more sustainably, and address the need for more affordable housing. FIOSS completely integrates the concept, design and engineering of our projects with highly automated manufacturing under factory-controlled conditions.
FIOSS(R) significantly reduces framing cycle time. Framing a typical 2,500-square-foot house generally takes a crew of five workers 15 days (or 71 man-days) to complete. With FIOSS, the framing can be accomplished in just four days by a crew of four (or 14 man-days) with the assistance of a crane. This represents a productivity increase of more than 500 percent.
With off-site construction methodologies being relatively new concepts in the United States, there are often misconceptions about the process, the benefits, and other nuances. Here we help define what is fact and what is fiction. There are actually six different types of off-site construction - component, modular, panelized, precast, prefabrication, and volumetric.
