Rainy day roofing claims they will complete work that they started. Then they disappear and refuse the do any more work. Unprofessional and untrustworthy. There are too many good roofers in California to waste your money on their service.

Happy with the results of our new roof. Paul was extremely helpful and upfront about everything. The crew is friendly and courteous! Trucks are clean and don’t drip pools of oil on your driveway. Lastly the clean up was awesome- left the place so clean. No nails or scrap left around the home. Highly recommend this company.

I would highly recommend Rainy Day Roofing! They came to our house to do repairs on our roof before we installed solar panels by Sunrun. They were onetime, professional, covered our pool, and made sure our yard was immaculate when they left. They even left some back up tiles for us to use in the future incase one was broken. Mike is a man of his word, who stands by the work his crews do. Rainy Day Roofing turned a $3000 roofing project into an $18,000 repair for me. I would never recommend Rainy Day Roofing or Solar City/Tesla to anyone. Not only did they leave the yard a mess with tar paper, nails, etc, they managed to leave a mess on the inside by throwing tons of debris down the whole house fan. They damaged the flue on my roof so when the rains came in the winter the furnace was ruined. After months of dealing with Solar City and Rainy Day they decided to stop returning calls and emails. We purchased a $38,000 solar system for our home in Santa Barbara, from Solar City/Tesla. They advised we needed a new roof and they contracted with Rainy Day Roofing, and they proved to be particularly terrible: they dented our gutters with their ladders, trampled our landscaping, left approx. 100 used roofing nails strewn around the perimeter of our home, and didn't adequately install flashing around our three skylights, which then leaked water inside our home and damaged interior walls, carpeting, and personal items. Michael is amazing!!! We were in the process of selling our home and noticed 2 areas of our roof that were leaking. I found Rainy Day Roofing through Thumbtack actually and contacted Michael for an estimate. He was professional, honest, and down-to-earth about our roof condition and gave me different price quotes to look over. These guys are the best!!! We recently had my grandma's roof redone and it was done fast and very professional!! The guys made sure everything was picked up and cleaned before they left. I'm so happy they were able to do it fast because it rained that following weekend. I revived a call after that rain just to make sure everything was good! I was recommended to Rainy Day Roofer from my friend not too long ago. They came and gave me a fair estimate and came at a good price. They followed through with everything they promised and did an excellent job. All this within the week as they promised!

Additionally, they did everything by the book.

-Got the Permit
-Removal of old roofing material
-Hauled away the trashes
-Cleaned up the surrounding area
-make sure to meet the current city code(repair any damages from if needed)
-Use good grade materials

Buyer beware. I recently received a roof certification from this company paid for by the seller agent and it appears to be worthless. No one answers or returns calls. Email contact info is no good either. More details to follow.
