GREAT HEATER IN DEPTHS OF PANDEMIC. For future readers, this all took place during the depths of the pandemic and shortly after the 2021 Texas Deep Freeze, both of which are relevant to the review.
We had five different plumbers come out to give us estimates for replacing an old, electric hot water heater with a new, tankless, natural gas hot water heater. The first couple estimates gave us sticker shock - as in the $5 - $6K range - and we were beginning to wonder if we would even be able to replace our old tank. Evan was the second-to-last person there, and he explained to us why a tankless heater

Grohe Fixtures are a pain to work with. I had a problem with my Grohe Thermostatic Valve (controls water temperature) in my shower. The temperature could not be adjusted and was always uncomfortably hot. If you ever purchase Grohe fixtures make sure that you keep all the documentation that comes with the package. It WILL come in handy at some point.
I was not able to get much help from the Grohe helpline. They had two plumbing recommendations for me: one was 30 miles away and the other refused to work on Grohe fixtures anymore.
