If you don't feel like reading this whole review, basically all you need to know is that we were lied to by the person who did the initial consultation in order to gain our business, so we do not recommend this company.

Company failed to show and failed to cancel 1st appointment for annual service. The second appointment they also canceled last minute. When they finally showed. Serviceman did not have filter on the truck and they failed to tell me this in advance that a filter was not available on the truck. I needed to call a second company to change the filter and pay for a second service call.

I had a Fujitsu Dual Zone Ductless system installed by Apple Air Conditioning and Heating on 4/16/2016 for $5100. The system worked well from install until the Spring/Summer 2020. In New York, that was the height of COVID cases and deaths, and having a service person in my home was out of the question. On 5/21/2021 when a service person was finally scheduled, he told me the system was low on coolant due to a leak. The system was recharged for $537.69 AND to check for where the leak was coming from, there was an additional charge of $495 plus tax for special coolant that could be read with a UV

I could not recommend Apple Air Conditioning. I have been a customer for over 25 years and I needed a letter for my insurance company to replace a central air unit. The customer service representatives are not helpful and even though the owner came to my house to do the assessment, I still do not have the information that I need for my insurance company and it is over 2 weeks. I guess they do not value a loyal customer.

We called Apple to service our AC unit and give a quote on replacing it. When the tech got here and slipped on booties over his shoes i was like THIS IS THE COMPANY FOR ME. He serviced our unit and gave us a quote for a new one. It was kind of high (5,900 more than every other quote we got but hey, playas gonna play)
Fast forward two weeks. It starts to get hot. I'm 7 months pregnant with a giant baby. We go and turn on the AC and it's blowing hot air. Weird, since a few weeks earlier the tech said it was working just fine

Get a coupon in the mail from them, $99 special, expires end of May. Call them up to use it, the next appointment they have is end of June. They say coupon can't be used because service won't be complete by coupon expiration date; and price of service would be double. Apparently that's what type of company this is.

I would give zero stars if I could!!! I called in apple because my gas heater stopped working. They tell me they need to order an igniter and then it becomes they can't order part till 3 days from now. I'm left with no hot water or heat for who knows how many days. Imagine if this was winter!
They never answer the phone and I get a recording saying it's after hours on a Saturday afternoon???? Now I check my heater and it's leaking water!!!
Then they stated they would take money off a service contract for us for spending $$$$, never call us back, and then try and say the contract

Had gotten three quotes for a Central Air and Split Ductless installation. Apple was not the cheapest nor were they most expensive. What won us over was the thoughtfulness and questions they asked about what our needed. Their work was very clean and top notch. We've taken a star off as they took up the floor space of the attic instead of trying up the Central runs to the rafters. They knew we used the attic for storage and cleaned it for them temporarily. Something to point to them should you do the same, I'm sure they will accommodate. Highly recommend.

I had high hopes for this company based on the reviews on Google. Not sure where all these positive reviews come from now that I experienced it. I got an unprofessional/unpleasant salesman who tried to get me to do a total system conversion, spending tons of unnecessary money. Little did he know, I have inquired other HVAC company opinions, including one from an owner of a company. As soon as I hear the upsell, I toned him out and was just curious how much money this guy is trying to swindle me.
Do not proceed with this place, they are out to rip you off and do not have your best interest.

Wonderful customer service. Arrived on time and wearing a mask for safety. Safety precautions are very much appreciated. Had my AC up and running again in about 30 minutes. Due to Covid, the part took a little longer than expected to arrive but that is certainly understandable. Very happy that I have continued to have the service contract in place for unexpected situations. The service person arrived in under an hour for the initial call and diagnostics. Very professional team. Thank you!

We just added a 2 zone Mitsubishi Ductless Hyper-heat split (A/C and Heating) system to our existing 2 zone ducted central A/C and heating system in our our home to better accommodate rooms added to our expanded/extended split level home.

After 16 years of suffering in the summer heat, I finally convinced my husband it's time for central air. We had several different companies come and give us estimates. Some higher than others, others seemed a little shady. Margharetta showed up on time and was honest with which unit would be best in our home ductless or traditional. She didn't blow smoke just for us to buy the more expensive one.
On 8/5/19 the Apple Team showed up not between 8:30-9:30 am like we were told but earlier. Yes- I was impressed. The team was beyond professional. They were friendly, courteous and CLEAN

So very disappointed with this company. They installed a brand new unit less than 2 months ago and it stopped working right before the heat wave. We've had 2 technicians come and they said that there is a bad wire that needs to be replaced. I spoke to the owner and he said it is my responsibility to pay to replace the wire. I haven't had air conditioning in 3 days in the dead of summer and they are giving me a hard time. The battle continues. Please consider using another company. I really regret going with them.

I hired Apple air to do an inspection on my Central air and get it running for the season.
Alex was very pleasant and informative. He went through my Central air system to check all the levels and how well it was working. He also replaced my filter and explained some background data to me on my ac unit and it's life span.
He wasn't pushy on taking the service contract but explained it's benefits to me. Alex was great to deal with, I wish more service people were like him.
