New York Carpets

We came in on a Sunday to pick out some carpet, they were one of a handful open on Sundays. Bonus points! The rep was so nice and knowledgeable. We have not ordered our carpet yet, but we are definitely going with this place. Best price, best selection, friendly staff. No brainer!

I bought vinyl flooring and carpet from here, both products were quality products and I was pleased with the outcome. However I will not purchase from them again due installation issues I had that were not handled to my satisfaction. When I communicated my concerns I did not get an apology but rather it was redirected on me as if it were my fault. This not the way I like to be treated as a customer. Fair warning great products, not so great customer service!

If I could give 20 Stars I would. I bought carpet from them and first of all that was exquisite. Then I used the wrong cleaner and the carpet spotted. It was a year later and Allison..... excellent representative of the company who went out of her way to help....sent Jamie out to patch the carpet because I had saved some of the carpet. He patched the stained spots and he is an absolute artist. He kept telling me he wasn't sure it was going to look that good and he was concerned about that and talk to me about alternatives but finally agreed that patching was the only option for me right now

Straight forward the owners of this place are mess and incompetent. They don't even know what they are selling .
Answer for the response from owner : If you knew what you are selling the colors would match. Don't lie to people that I couldn't wait . You have no logical mind and no common sense so do not lie to people . You sell wrong material it is your responsibility to refund and your responsibility to pick up the material if you had a little common sense , Which you don't. You and your daughter need be ashamed.

We chose a beautiful carpet with the help of Mike Tallon, sales associate. He was knowledgeable and kind. The price was right too. Our installers were Hector and his crew. They took the time to be sure the outcome would be flawless. We would highly recommend working with Mike and Hector if you want an easy experience and one that gives you peace of mind that the job will be done correctly and to your satisfaction. We would definitely use them in the future.

Tommie was awesome! She was so helpful and knowledgeable. She made picking the right flooring super easy and fun. Great selection here. Everyone is friendly. You can really tell they enjoy being there and helping customers.

After going the Rugsusa.com route and buying a cheap carpet that we regretted, we decided to give NY Carpet a shot. We are very pleased with the two wool rugs we got. The difference in quality is clear. Our rugsusa.com rug pills a lot and also feels cheap when you walk on it, whereas our wool rugs feel nice and soft. Granted, the NY Carpet rugs were twice the cost, but you really get what you pay for when it comes to rugs. We are also very pleased with the job they did binding the rugs into irregular shapes to fit our kids' bedroom walls. Basically into tetris shapes. Great job NY Carpets

After not being sure if shopping for a carpet, was a good idea. Due to our current State situation (Covid-19), we decided to visit a few places! Sadly some were not open on the weekends.
Thankfully NY carpets was open

Our customer adviser was John very wise and friendly always wore a mask and kept his (6 ft) distance while showing us the many different options of color, texture, and brand.
Didn't take long before we decided on the perfect color!
He was fast and efficient, he did explain special order carpets take a few extra days.

We are thrilled with our floors! We went to New York Carpets on a recommendation from our realtor. Mike Tallon was superb! I told him what I had in mind and he helped pick out the perfect tile and then helped with choosing the carpet! He has great customer service skills. Everything went very smoothly! I'm amazed with the experience I had. Came in looking for new carpeting. I was greeted by a very professional and sweet sales rep, her name is Ariel. She was very professional and knowledgeable with the product. I'm in sales myself and don't like to be pushed. Ariel was just easy and explained The difference in each pattern and durability. She was also helpful in selecting the right color to bring on more Brightness for my project. I was very pleased with no hassle experience and installation. The installer came in and finish the job and everything was done as promised

Allison is extremely condescending and rude and unfortunately she never would have changed her tone if I hadn't called her out on it. There was a huge miscommunication that was completely their fault and she took out her frustration and annoyance on us. She was condescendingly asking "Do you understand?" and "Can you do that?" multiple times when she talked to us and it was completely unprofessional but after reading a lot of these other Yelp reviews and realizing that they rarely address any negative reviews/comments, I know that they do not take feedback seriously nor

We finally decided that we wanted Vinyl flooring in the main rooms of the house. I wanted it set at the Diagonal, which I knew would be MUCH more in the materials (12% because of waste/ cuts) and labor ( WAY more cuts & measuring.) My Mom has her tile on the diagonal and I absolutely love hers. Mike Tallon was our sales person. He was so helpful, informative, and patient. After putting a deposit down we Scheduled Derrick the Measuring person to come out. He called to let me know the time frame and showed up at that time. He was very fast and competent. Beware of using this business if you're not fully committed to moving forward with the project. I had a very unfortunate experience with Tom (salesperson) and Allison (manager/owner) whereby they would not release my deposit due to my wanting to move my install date until the next year but not knowing exactly when the job will be completed. I needed to move the date because I have a newborn and it has been difficult to coordinate getting him away from home in order for the demo to take place.

I expected as a show of good faith and because zero work was completed they would be customer focused

Great selection of quality carpet in every color. I needed blue carpet and they had it in stock! I was in, loaded up and out in 15 minutes!

Use them over 13 times and recommended them to client over 50....always great. Selection and prices are very competitive. The staff is very helpfully. If you need som remnants best shop for it. They edge scraps for runners too!
