Robert W. Kiser, or Bob Kiser as most knew him, came to Memphis TN in 1949 to open a floor covering store named Linoleum City. The idea for the store originated in Decatur, IL where he was employed at a flooring company there called Miller-O'Neill. He had an opportunity to go into business with the firm in a new venture, and all that was lacking was a city in which to locate.
Dear Mr. Kiser, I want you to know just how very pleased I am with the service your company rendered recently. We entered the week of Easter with a whole new kitchen. I think it is important to tell you that besides the superb products you sell, theres many more things to be proud of. Your installation personnel, in particular, made a possible ordeal into a pleasant experience.
Either way works. Some customers want to browse our flooring selection before they request a measure and get a price.
However, we like to come out and measure first - that way when a customer comes in we know the exact square footage/yardage and what the labor will involve ( i.e. removing existing flooring or going over the existing, removing and resetting of furniture and appliances, thresholds, stair installation-runner or wall to wall, bound or turned and tacked on the sides, etc.).

We get calls all the time from people asking about having their hardwood floors refinished. Sometimes they've had a small water leak and some of the wood has "cupped." Other times the wood has been down for a number of years and just needs a little TLC. If your floor is in good shape but the finish has worn off, you can have your floor screened and recoated.

The flooring installed in my Mom's house was nice for the cost since the insurance co paid the expense. It was from flooding in her house. I gave them a three after 6 months later we discovered pop up on the flooring (laminated hardwood). There is debris underneath in a couple of spots. I was told to talk to owner. I did. He was to send a worker to check it out. Did not. I called 5 times and left messages. Now it's been over a year since installing and just letting you know to check carefully when anyone does work on your floors.

I had a bathroom and laundry room tiled. I was not home when the installers left. The molding was in terrible shape after replacing.
I called the store and was provided a small credit rather than offering to have them return to complete the job properly.
They did not bolt the commode back properly. After rocking, I had to hire a plumber to come repair the issue. He said they didn’t bolt it down around the collar. Another $200.
Sales was very helpful in choosing the tile; although, I would not recommend their installers.
