We bought an older house. Under the carpet we found some beautiful hardwood, but in the living room there was a patch of plywood where a former side porch had been enclosed, so we wanted to have flooring out down and everything restored and matched. I called Midtown because my floors were redone by a second hand company and looked HORRIBLE! Carol immediately notified the owner who came out and did an assessment of my nearly ruined floors. He was very confident he could repair the damage. Midtown showed up the next day with one of the most skilled craftsman I have ever watched work. Joel spent the whole day repairing the damage, and by days end my floors were beautiful. The next day I got my second coat of floor finish and I could NOT be happier with the outcome. Hardwood floors at new house needed a lot of care. From heavy glue removal, pet stains, and water damage. These floors were not taken care of. Bill’s team came and sanded the floors. All the damages on the floors were gone! We were in love with the natural look, so we had a clear coat of polyurethane put down. The floors are so smooth, shiny, and gorgeous!

My experience with Midtown Hardwood was an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE. Five years later, my floors are actually cracking between within the slats. I reported this about 14 months after the original job and was given a can of wood glue and told they weren’t in warranty. They were horrible communicators, tried to postpone the job the day before it was scheduled after we’d already vacated to let them do the job, and then rushed through (for what reason I still don’t know) and did a terrible job. This company has ruined the value of my house and it’s going to cost a fortune to fix before I can put

Midtown Hardwood is the BEST! They did the installation of hardwood in my kitchen and you can't tell where the new wood is interlaced with the old floors at all. Completely seamless. Beautiful craftmanship. Bill, the owner, is delightful. Ask him about his Great Dane dog. He will tell you funny stories. The installation team was on-time and professional. Price was reasonable and they stayed on budget. My highest recommendation.

Our home is over 100 years old so we have many projects that need to be addressed. I have not been impressed with many of the professionals that come out for bids...That being said, Bill was extremely knowledgeable about his craft as well as being very efficient, not to mention putting in an excellent finished product. Our floors were finished just under a week after his estimate. Midtown Hardwood will be the only company we use for flooring moving forward.

We had go foundation work done and were worried about our existing hardwood floor that were installed in the 1950s. midtown Hardwood saves the day. You can't even tell where the new wood is. They were courteous, cleaned up everyday and kept the dust contained. We could not be happier!!!

I can't say enough about how wonderful this company is! They worked with us above and beyond what we expected. We decided to tackle the sanding and staining ourselves just to save money, but when it came time to the finishing they did a wonderful job (if you have the money, get them to do everything! It's much easier and will turn out better).

What a great experience! Our floors look amazing after Bill and his crew at Midtown Hardwood worked their magic, skills and experience on them. They worked very quickly and unbelievably clean.
