Services
A household furnace is a major appliance that is permanently installed to provide heat to an interior space through a duct system that has supply and return ductwork. The most common fuel source in Tillamook county is electric resistance heat. This is largely due to the low cost of hydro electricity, the lack of natural gas in Tillamook county, and the high cost of propane and oil.
For climates like the Pacific Northwest, with moderate heating and cooling needs, air source heat pumps offer an energy-efficient alternative to furnaces and air conditioners. Like your refrigerator, heat pumps use electricity to move heat from a cool space to a warm space, making the cool space cooler and the warm space warmer.
Ductless heating and cooling systems utilize heat pump technology, which can be 3.5 times more efficient than electric heat to distribute warm or cool air quietly and efficiently. The outdoor unit connects to the indoor unit with a small bundle of cables, including refrigerant lines. The outdoor unit is usually placed outside of your home adjacent the indoor unit, though not always.

P&L Heating & Sheet Metal came to my house about an hour after I called. I had to replace the heating element in my dryer, and All Star Appliance told me to call them and have them clean my dryer vent. It turned out to be BIG job, and they worked hard, kept going and let me know what was going on. They made the impossible possible.; I am so impressed with their hard work, persistence and friendliness. I would recommend them to anyone. They will now be cleaning those dryer vents once a year. Thank you!!!!!

Furnace was not turning on. Called P&L. Have had great luck with other P&L techs, not the latest. Matt insisted I needed a new furnace, from beginning to end of appointment. Said they dont make parts for my furnace anymore and they are too expensive. He continued to inspect and say, "Thats not good", at every little thing he glanced at and touched. He eventually found the blower motor to be bad, but was very hesitant to recommend replacing ("too expensive/too hard to find/better to buy a new furnace"). After pressing him he quoted me at 400$ + labor "shooting real rough from the hip" for a new

Thank you for the wonderful air conditioning I am enjoying on this hot day from my ductless heating and air conditioning system that you installed in January. P&L is an awesome company with great owners and employees. They recently installed a heat pump and all the duct work at our new home. They were prompt, efficient and answered all of our questions!
