From constructing tree forts in his youth to designing passive solar houses, founder/owner Brad Cruickshank has always known that "home" is a special place you want to be. With an engineering degree from Brown University (he also fulfilled requirements for a major in fine art) Brad went on to graduate with a Master of Architecture degree from Yale University.
Detailed Documentation: We strive for clear, written documentation concerning project scope and schedule. Client Viewpoint: Remodeling involves numerous construction professionals, including suppliers and sub-contractors. In our dealings with all of them, we are advocates for our clients. The Design/Build approach is born out of the idea that a single responsible professional who knows design and construction cost is best equipped to produce the most economical plan that fits all project requirements. We are not ego driven designers with our own aesthetic agendas. Our project designers are degreed, seasoned professionals with extensive experience in architectural design and a deep knowledge of historic styles.
Cruickshank Remodeling performs many large repair and maintenance projects for homeowners who want Cruickshank service and quality. We typically have several suppliers and subcontractors in each area, whom we have found to provide good value. Despite this fact, we do not refer our subs and suppliers.
