A Letter of Gratitude from Richard Skinner, AIA, the Founder of Richard Skinner & Associates known for a legacy of luxury architectural design. With profound gratitude that after 31 wonderful years of practice in Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia, I have decided to explore other options life has to offer.

Architecture is an exciting profession, more of a lifestyle. It has brought me great satisfaction, and I will miss the creativity and stimulation of working with my professional colleagues in architectural design and construction every day. I would like to thank my wife and companion, Pattie Houlihan, for her willing ear, loving guidance, and ultimate patience in this long venture together.

I am incredibly proud of and grateful for the extraordinary clients that have supported and put their trust in us to create enduring designs for custom-designed residences, institutional and educational facilities. As time continues to move along, I plan to enjoy a focus on new experiences and my growing family.
