ZANDO Designs, Inc. is a design/build firm specializing in fine home and garden projects including renovation, landscape and new construction. Libby Zando, owner and the chief designer, works with a dedicated management staff and a team of skilled artisans and craftsmen. The ZANDO Designs office is located in historic Milton, Delaware next to the elegant circa 1900 Zando home overlooking the Broadkill River. The house, built by Captain George Megee, a ship chandler, has been recently featured in DELAWARE TODAY and CHESAPEAKE LIFE magazines for outstanding pool design, garden and interior details and art collections.

ZANDO Designs renovation projects run the gamut from simple re-modeling and updating to extensive rehabilitation and additions to both historic and contemporary homes and structures. Libby Zando's educational background and extensive experience make her especially adept at creating useful and attractive spaces within the confines and restrictions of existing structures.
ZANDO Designs offers a wide range of landscaping services from recommending and installing plantings to large-scale comprehensive landscape plans incorporating such diverse elements as arbors, pergolas, patios, decks, fences, lighting, irrigation, and fountains, all with the final goal of creating a beautiful, relaxing and inviting environment.
ZANDO Designs building projects include both major additions to existing structures as well as "ground-up" construction of new homes, while always incorporating Libby Zando's keen sense of design, space and functionality and unswerving attention to detail. The Lewes homeowners wanted to expand their historic home, built circa 1840, to include a substantial two-story addition and an expanded kitchen as well as two new bathrooms.
From a modest addition or re-modeling project to a major renovation to a complete "from scratch" design and set of plans, ZANDO Designs can accommodate projects of all sizes. Available on either an hourly fee basis, or in conjunction with a complete design/build package, Libby Zando works closely and personally with every client.
