I had a job interview at this location and from my understanding I got the job as that's what the woman had stated. she said in her exact words "The position is yours if you'd like it!" I accepted and she stated she'd be in contact with me. I waited 3 days and decided to call in which I received no answer- I then left a voicemail in which was never returned. I feel as though this was very unprofessional and a major set back for me. As I could of taken a job with another company I had an interview with earlier in the week. Now I'm unemployed and have high anxiety about

I had a really good experience at Tonkin Mazda of Portland. They worked very hard to make a car that I liked happen and at a rate that I could afford. They even offered to drive it up to Wenatchee for me. The manager Zach worked really hard to get it within my price range. I waited over a year to write this review, because I wanted to make sure there wasn't any problems with the car. While I did need to do maintenance to it, it was all in the areas I expected. The only reason I am giving four stars out of five is that the sales person who worked with me didn't seem to know how Mazda's even worked

Wife and I purchased a new Mazda Nov. 2020. Good experience except that the process took a little longer than expected. Everyone at the dealership was polite and straightforward. We had two minor recalls in 2021 and got them both handled quickly on the same day. Overall it was a better experience than we anticipated.

I'm in the market for a new vehicle and scheduled a test drive through the chat feature. Within the hour Jacob reached out to confirm and ask which vehicles I wanted took at. He had them pulled up when I arrived for my test drive. He was super friendly and knowledgeable. He didn't pressure me into making a decision on the spot and if he didn't know the answer to my question he went and asked.

I had such a wonderful experience with Jacob in used cars. All i had to do was tell him my budget and A few details about what I was looking for and he found me the perfect car! I honestly have never had such a quick experience at a dealership. Eric who helped with the financing portion was extremely knowledgeable and had a clear and concise way of describing all the paperwork. Overall fantastic experience!

We had our Mazda towed to Ron Tonkin Mazda.
I choose this dealership because my son takes his two Mazda's here and this is my first issue with my CX5, and after a poor experience at the Vancouver Washington Mazda dealer I knew I wasn't going there.
We called for service and Cyntia was able to get my car scheduled for repairs and we were able to get a loaner car as we were stranded in Portland. Cyntia was very informative on our repairs.
The tech Leon sent a video of our car and the issues it was having letting us know what items to consider fixing or waiting until the next visit

Terrible communication within the service department. I drove 2 hours round trip for a pre-scheduled service appointment. I was told they would have a loaner car for me. When I dropped it off I was told that they don't have a loaner available and they wouldn't be able to call a Lyft for me because it was out of their range. I'm extremely frustrated. What a waste of time because of lack of communication. I would not recommend this place.

***UPDATE*** Jamie from Customer Relations reached out to me to rectify this concerning experience. She was friendly, accommodating, and apologetic about this visit to Tonkin Mazda. After speaking with her, I was able to receive a refund for the difference. I appreciate that Tonkin Mazda has made this right.

I am super disappointed!! I was a loyal Ron Tonkin Mazda customer for 10 years and bought two cars from them and always had my car serviced by them. However, when they were bought out a few years back by Gee Automotive everything started getting worse and now they finally did it. I am NEVER going back.

Don't go here, especially if you're a woman and shopping alone. I came here looking to buy (and trade in my current car). The amount they offered me to trade in my VK Tiguan, which KBB'd between $3-4K was $800. It was extremely offensive and felt like they were trying to take advantage of me. Not only that - but when they ran the numbers for my loan they marked up my interest rate to 7% without even asking me what kind of Credit Score I had or what I thought my interest rate would be. Just assumed I had bad credit? After I left I called the Manager to explain how offended I was

This past weekend it was time to replace my 2015 Mazda CX-5 Touring, so I headed over to RTM to purchase a 2020 Mazda CX-5 GT. First of all my salesperson was amazing and professional.
My complaint is with the finance department. I purchased a 2018 Mazda3 in 2018. On July 2nd I was t-boned. Luckily I purchased GAP insurance through Tonkin. However all of the paperwork they gave me indicated that I had GAP insurance through Principal Auto Gap. When I attempted to file a claim with them they had no idea who I was.
After several of going back and forth with the dealership they finally informed me that my GAP insurance was through Toyota Financial Services.
They failed to ever inform my lender Santander that my GAP insurance
