My mother and I hired this company to do our move just this past week and they did a terrible job! Movers BEWARE of this company! Not all was our furniture damaged but the movers took forever to move our items. A job that should have taken 2-4 hours max took an entire 8 hours! The movers damaged a newly painted ceiling when they moved my sons mattress and hit the ceiling fan into the ceiling. In addition, one mover smelled like weed and took multiple cigarette breaks around all of our furniture. When we called to inform the company about this, their boss Jamie - sent us a lengthy form to fill out

Do it yourself if you don’t wanna get rip on the day of
your move.
The moving company gives one estimate over the phone and then on time to move they raise the price double or even triple sometimes even more.
The dot (department of transportation) supposed to be the ones watching those moving companies and assist when needed but the truth
They don’t give a damm
That’s why moving companies can get a way with and continues to ripoff customers
Nobody can stop them
They change business name every couple years and they keep staying and doing that

Do not count on this company when moving.
I paid the deposit and received a call to confirm the timing of the move two days before the actual date.
The day of the move, Acclaimed Movers called me and canceled due to one of its trucks breaking down. They offered no alternative solution, told me tough luck, refused to compensate me for the truck I was forced to find at the last minute.
It is unprofessional to cancel on a customer the day of the move, with no notice or alternative solution to help.

We hired them for our move from CA to Boston. Guess what, the moment you get a booking done and pickup schedule, no one will ever answer the call ever. Now after all that our stuff arrives and the bar is damaged completely, can not be repaired and fixed. I have to save it for claiming. Now the claim procedure, they don't accept anything in email, every single thing they would accept in mail but not when it comes to them giving money and they expect you to send receipt of all the items and furnitures. I will update it after how does the claim procedure go. Lost a lot of money. Be ready to add 1000

It was a very positive experience working with Acclaimed Movers & Storage. I recently moved from California to Michigan. Their customer care was prompt to handle the telephone service and emails. From initial estimate to upload and delivery, every step was handled with professional manner. Both the pick-up and drop-off crews were very careful to ensure our furniture were loaded and unloaded without occurrence. Especially they were careful with my paintings and table. It was all in all a very pleasant experience. Thank you Acclaimed Movers for conduct a great move for us.

Everyone seemed polite and eager to help with the move. They sent a truck in a quick time frame. The movers were nice..and after that it goes downhill. I was told that my stuff would arrive around the 28th of December
It is now New years eve and my belongings are still in a warehouse in Hollywood. I have moved to Washington state and have an empty house. Whenever you call you get an answering machine. You leave a message and get no response from any departments except from the booking and quote line. They play dumb and say they will transfer you to dispatch..but it's a smokescreen to get you off

A disastrous experience. Stay away!
We just moved from Los Angeles to Fort Lauderdale and it has been a rip off. We agreed on a binding quote with NO surprises. Even though we had it in writing, it didn't stop the guys who picked up our stuff to try to get more money from us, pretending that they had a walk an extra few feet to get to their trucks. They also tried to make us pay for extra boxes and material, when our quote clearly stated that it included all packing and material. We paid nearly 6,000 dollars for horrible customer service.
Then the driver who delivered our belongings, refused

I received a lot of calls from moving companies about my move and although acclaimed wasn't the cheapest, I really connected with Avery. She was very thorough with explaining everything to me and wasn't pushy at all like some of the others I spoke to. I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical at first but I'm so glad I trusted my instinct and went with them. My items arrived in about 10 days and I only had 1 flimsy frame that was damaged but I packed it myself, other than that, everything else went extremely well!! Definitely recommend.

They had all the equipment needed, wrapped all my furniture with care, and did all of this in an amazingly efficient timeframe. They never missed any schedule which was awesome.
