Just used MJB again to re-screen our 40 year old maple floor. They did a beautiful job, as usual. They roughed up the old finish and re-coated with a new coat of polyurethane, and the floor looks practically new again! We were back in the house by 4pm, no dust, no mess, they did an awesome job! I highly recommend them- a number of my friends have used them too, and they have all been very pleased.

MJB Flooring installed new beautiful hardwood and carpet in our home. The staff was professional and diligent. We met one of the owner's Brian Johnson, and he worked within our budget and gave us awesome advice to meet out needs. When people walk into our home, the first thing they compliment is our floors. After reading Maggie's review (1 star) we were reluctant to use MJB Flooring. My wife called the floor guy who recommended MJB and he encouraged us to use them, because he had referred all his clients who had Junkers distressed floors to MJB for refinishing, and never had a complaint. So, we used MJB, and they did a wonderful job. The craftsmen who did the work were Tim and Nick.

When we used MJB Flooring in 2012 they subcontracted their work out to licensed contractors on their list. Our first experience was very good but the second time we used them we got a different subcontractor and they were subpar. The owner begrudgingly came back to fix the issues only because I withheld the $5K balance due.

I was referred to MJB from another flooring company that did not do the scope of work I was looking for. I needed three spots repaired from getting space heaters removed. They did such a good job:
1. They were timely and responsive.
2. They were reasonably priced.
3. They did a fabulous job...I can barely tell the difference between the old and new.
4. They were great with my two kids.
