Services
Ronald M. Bergeron, Sr., founder of Bergeron Land Development and the Bergeron Family of Companies, began his career in 1962 by clearing five acres of land in Davie, Florida with only a machete, an axe, a rope and an old Mercury truck. He then took his $235 earnings and invested in a 1943 Ford Ferguson tractor which he used to help farmers plant orange groves and clear tracts for pasture land for cattle.
Collectively, our team provides a superior combination of local knowledge, national experience, and perspective on all aspects of Bergeron. Safety is paramount to all our projects and daily life. Our core team instills the company's core principles of scope, schedule, budge, and safety into every project regardless of size and complexity.
Recognized as one of the leading contractors in Florida by Southeast Construction Magazine, Bergeron Land Development emphasizes both driver and pedestrian safety throughout scheduling, public notification and maintenance of traffic plans. Bergeron has the bonding line and financial resources to handle any size project up to $170,000,000, with favorable consideration for projects requiring higher amounts.
We continuously update our Corporate Safety Plan which is implemented and monitored by our Corporate Safety Director. Each and every employee must complete the OSHA 30 Hour- Construction Safety Course and all workers, government inspectors, visitors, technicians and subcontractors on our construction sites are required to attend the Site Safety Orientation prior to being allowed on site.
At Bergeron, it's our people that make us an exceptional partner for our clients. We're always interested in qualified, highly motivated professionals who share our commitment to integrity and accountability. Please complete this New Hire EE0-1 Data Sheet. It will supply us with information we need for federal reporting obligations.

US 41 bypass project has been dragged out and haphazardly scheduled. One day you block the road during the day and then the next it's at night. There's no rhyme or reason to it not an end in sight. Coupled with dangerous equipment operators who deviate from the work zone into the road without warning or caution..... This has been a long joke
I appreciate your reply however I have called on three occasions of near miss incidents and left voicemail that was never responded to.

One of your drivers, someone with a white pick up truck that had your name on it with tag JCK A42 was driving incredibly dangerously today 2/17/19 on Alligator Alley. Whoever this man is should be held accountable.

8th Street NE project in Naples Florida
First you make my entrance to my driveway 37 inches narrower than it was before you ripped it up. Now I drive on the edge and grass every time I pull in. Then you leave… my drainage area to low, so now it’s a swamp. Yesterday you replaced the mailbox’s and you break the stand but still set box. I think 16 inches from the ground is a little low.
ANOTHER QULITY JOB FROM BERGERON the company that really doesn’t care.
