When a Representative from Northstar came to my home in October to discuss the issues with my furnace, he told me the company worked out of San Dimas and were in the process of establishing themselves on the mountain. He felt I needed a new furnace and I bought one that included the zoning feature and duct cleaning. Pretty expensive. At that time I showed him my generator and explained that we loose power a lot and that I needed the furnace to work with that particular generator. He assured me it would. I pointed the generator out to the Technician who came out to install the furnace and he too

I contacted Northstar plumbing becasue I have low water pressure in the shower only.
Upong contacting then I told them what previous plumber told me. Basically cartridge needs to be replaced, he couldn't find the part so he couldn't do it.
Alternative option was to replace whole shower valve system which is expensive (2 plumbers quoted me for $800) and don't want to do it since I plan to remodel in a few years anyway.
So I told them that and they reassure me they can fix it. I tell them I was giving them that information because I didn't want them

I found this company through Yelp and have been very satisfied with the technician , Matt whom I saw the first time. He was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable and explained how he would clean the vents which could help the air in my house which was setting off my allergies every day.
He also explained another method where he would install a relatively new devise which would clear the mold , dust and allergies that were affecting me. I signed the contract and we scheduled a day for him to repair the heater.
He returned with Bryan who worked with Matt to put in the new device. Both were competent

Two days ago Northstar successfully fixed my furnace so that we could have heat. I wrote about that positive experience with Northstar and their tech named Chris Orabona in a previous Yelp review. The problem was due to a rodent chewing through the pressure line, so after Chris replaced the line I added rodent traps. Within two days the heater stopped working again. I called Northstar and, once again, they were quick to respond, polite, and sent Chris back that same day. By early afternoon he had determined that the rodent had wreaked havoc on the line again! Just stop here and look no more! Northstar is your go to for plumbing, heating, etc. First we had Tommy come out and tell us what the problem was. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and gave us an estimate for what was needed. They were able to come out in a few days to install a new furnace. The installation guys were Andrew, and Jesus. They were very friendly. They were very quick in installing, and very, very clean. They both explained everything to me in regard to the new furnace, filter, and thermostat. Thank you so much for your great job! We will definitely use Northstar again!

I do not recommend this comapny. ZERO stars....This company put in a brand new AC unit and it took weeks to get it straightened out and when you call the owner he never calls you back. My family members suffered with 92 degrees inside the house because this company refused to come out every time the air stopped working. They could not figure out why the new AC unit would not work. We had to call them over 10 times and they would take days to get back to us.

Called them up to come do some maintenance on the AC on our new condo. I was given an appointment, and called before the appointment that Chris would be over in about an hour by Katie the dispatcher. I told her that I was at work and would need a 20 minute head start to head home. She said of course, and sure enough called me that Chris would be finishing up his job soon and was giving me the heads up. I got to my property as Chris was pulling in. He did a great job inspecting and explaining what the AC needs or didn't. I was impressed overall with the company because they help me use my time wisely

Northstar was quick and responsive. The first company we called on Friday to fix our leakage problem gave us an appointment for 2 weeks away. Northstar sent their rep, Logan, today, Monday!
Logan diagnosed the problem quickly and took care of it. He also removed the air filter (a difficult process) and gave us correct dimensions and how often to replace it. It was a challenging situation in that a portion of the carpet in the hallway was soaked. Logan determined the drain for the air conditioner was backed up.
With all that Logan did, the charge was a mere $39 -- amazing! Clearly Logan was

Tommy G. was excellent. I noticed his truck was parked outside as he was visiting my neighbor. I asked if he could come check out the unit and he provided valuable advice on my AC unit needs.
It was very refreshing to see a technician who cares about the customer and looking out for their needs. Tommy was able to demonstrate his expertise and showed me how I could potentially improve my water system as well.

I recently needed to get my furnace serviced/replaced and attempted to contact several local companies. None would pick up or return my calls. I eventually contacted Northstar after I saw several recommendations on Facebook. Northstar was very responsive, and I was able to schedule an appointment right away. Katie kept me informed throughout the process. I elected to get a new furnace installed, and the installers Mario and Tony were able to get the job done quickly. I definitely recommend this company.

Doug came earlier than expected and diagnosed our problem of our new home right away. He was friendly, honest and gave recommendations on what we need to do and showed us some problems with our furnace. We had a DANGER tag on our furnace and our heat was shut off. We wanted to know why and also see what maintanence or service needed to be done.

Northstar (Ivan) came out to fix our air conditioner this morning. He was on time, polite and most of all he was honest. I was referred to him from a neighbor and I am so glad I took their advice. Amazing service! I was able to schedule a visit right away on a Saturday. Both technicians were informative, professional, and friendly. They looked at my thermostat which I thought had a problem, but there was nothing wrong. They graciously waived the fee, and changed my filter. I will be calling them from now on!

Was out yesterday to service our new heating and air conditioner (which we are very happy with). He arrived on time and went right to work and explained the process and what the numbers meant as he tested the unit inside and out. He even pulled a couple of weeds near the unit. Doug was very courteous, professional and very knowledgeable of the heating and air conditioning business as he answered all our questions and concerns without hesitation. The best part was the service call was 0 dollars.
