I don't write reviews often but had to. I had an appointment scheduled the night before then they called me in the morning to say they cannot come for three more days. Complete flakes and if you have to stay home for work for a plumbing issue this isn't the company you want to pick cause they might just not show up at all.

They said it's a condo with HOA, which the past owner was willing to work on it. They wasted the entire day and now at 4:30pm are blaming it on being a new protocol.

Just avoid!

Same experience as others, phone disconnected. I tried the "text me" option and did get someone in a call center (somewhere) who promised me an appointment 30 min later. When I called to check the dispatcher said "no we have other appointments, maybe tomorrow"

Evidently this local business was bought out? Sold? I don't know what happened but with so many choices out there I wont be trying this one again.

No idea what happened to this company but none of their numbers work - it's a dead line on Yelp's page, then both the numbers I have for them don't work. I finally found a working number on Google and told the guy who answered that they had a wrong number on Yelp and he hung up on me. Not sure what happened but doesn't seem responsive to me.

We have a big family so losing water is a big deal! They’ve helped us before, but this last weekend they really came through and rescued us. Thanks so much, we really appreciate you guys!

Chris & Jesse did an excellent job installing three new toilets. They also threw in for free a valve replacement for a bathroom faucet. And they did NOT leave any mess. Good work guys! Thanks again. I would highly recommend Detour Plumbing.

My mom called them for a toilet at her house. Two people came out and told her the manufacturer no longer makes a part, she needs to do this and that, she should replace the toilets...blah blah blah.
I go visit my mom with my husband and she tells me this so I send my husband to take a look. He spends $18 at Home Depot and problem solved. Save yourself the trouble and don't call them.
P.S. My husband is not a plumber

Jesse and his assistant was here at my place this morning. He took care of a bathroom sink leak. I woke up and stepped into a puddle. Glad they were out here quick and took care of it. Thank you Jesse.

Great company! We had some issues with our new home ( bought it on a flip) - water getting behind walls from a leak that occurred behind a wall. We got faulty advice from some local companies, and the issue still persisted. Detour was referred to us by a friend, and they came out, troubleshooted the issue, and remediated the problem. Never showed up for appointment, unable to contact anyone even after receiving reminder messages in the morning about our appointment. Completely unprofessional and unreliable.

Three months have passed and I am still angry. After the initial call for service, it took five visits and two weeks for the job to be completed. The work is not good, their response is completely unreliable and we still have a problem. "We'll be there at 9:00 a.m"......problem is at noon they still were not here and that was not just once!!!

Excellent company! Within 30 minutes of calling, Jesse was here, found and explained a solution to the issue with my washing machine valves and had it repaired a short time after. Communication with the office was great. Thanks for taking care of my plumbing issue so quickly!

Great service! Called and got a plumber to fix a clogged drain within 2 hours. Jesse provided excellent service. He was very personable, explained what the most likely issues were, and how much each one would end up costing. He fixed it up super quick and it is now as good as new! I would definitely recommend Jesse and Detour Plumbing and plan to keep using them for the future.

These guys are absolutely A++++++ number one, thee best plumbing company I've EVER dealt with. I've been a homeowner for 30+ years and I still can not believe how professional, courteous and friendly Chris and his partner were. I want to thank them personally for repairing both leaks on my ranch allowing me to get water again to the property. They completely saved my bacon. Their response time from phone call to arrival was about 25 minutes! To their boss/owner, give these guys a RAISE pronto!

Worst customer service, they do not care how urgent you are, you'll need to follow their schedule, their 24/7 service is a joke. Will Not consider them again

Of course my water heater starts splashing out water on a Sunday morning and flooding my garage. Turned off the water to the house and started looking up local plumbers. Detour Plumbing was one of plumbing companies to come up and was rated very high in customer satisfaction. Also open on Sundays. Bottom line my water heater was replaced by the next day before noon. Everyone that I came in contact with, Chris, Kaleb and Aidan were professional and good at what they do. I would recommend them and when I need more plumbing work done I will contact them again.

These guys were great! My shower leaked from the second floor, into the first floor of my house. I was feeling the hot whips of panic as my house was in a short escrow. Other companies were telling me my entire shower had to be replaced at a cost exceeding $10,000. These guys came up with an alternative solution that only cost me around $1200. They fixed the shower drain and bottom assembly. They came out the next day to run a water test and presto! My problem solved. They are smart and efficient technicians and saved the day. We called Detour Plumbing with an emergency they sent Chris out within 1 hour. We had a clogged upstairs toilet with water coming through the ceiling light on the first floor. Chris and his partner were extremely professional, masked up, shoe covers on and very polite, they told me what they thought the problem might be what they wanted to do to find out and how much it would cost. They explained things so a lay person could understand. They got right to it, removed the toilet found the clog and also found that the plumbing had not been installed properly with a slope away from the toilet, they

Called Detour Plumbing and spoke with Chris on a Saturday night after we tried to replace our shower cartridge, but of course the repair didn’t work out the way we planned and needed help. Chris was nice enough to give advice over the phone but we were too far gone....so we scheduled service for Sunday morning to get the whole shower valve replaced. Knowing we couldn’t use our water until the valve was fixed, Chris sent Jesse Mendoza over first thing in the morning. He was early and friendly, explaining what needed to be done. These guys are truly amazing. Very knowledgable, respectful and extremely efficient. Kaleb and Aidan did a fantastic job fixing our water main, they worked very hard and kept us aware of every part of the process. They left everything clean and even replaced part of our grass. My husband and I were very happy with their services especially Jesse and Chris. They were great! very professional and honest. They had their complete gear especially the mask and the shoe cover that we really appreciate coz we have kids that play in the living room. They did an excellent job! They cleaned up after! They leave no mess! If we have any issues, we call them and we only want Jesse and Chris. Thumbs up! would definitely recommend.

My wife and I have used Detour plumber to help with maintenance with our plumbing and gas lines. It is so important even if you don't think there is a problem to call them and have them check everything out. They are the best of the best. They are straight forward with pricing and very fair. We have a all house water filter installed and it does an amazing job. If your water leaves mineral deposits, Detour plumbing has the solution. The filter works great and is guaranteed for 10 years or a million gallons (if I remember correctly.). My wife loves it. It makes cleaning so much easier

It's unfortunate that I am writing this review as the guy that showed up was nice enough but they had one goal; up sell no matter what.. and that's a problem. My toilet clogged up over the weekend and I tried to fix it with a plunger. I could tell there was something stuck in there. But I moved the problem down the pipe. I called detour plumbing and it was tough to get a call back. They came the next day, and took a look.

Detour plumbing was professional from the beginning until the end of the job. After I set up an appointment, the company sent me a text message to remind me of the appointment and another text letting me know they were on their way.
Chris and Jesse explained what needed to be done to repair a leak from the upstairs bathtub and took the time to answer all my questions.
Jesse showed me the end product and I am extremely happy with his work and professional input. He took the time to explain every detail of the repair. He wore masks and shoe protectors which goes the extra mile to keep their costumer

Excellent service as always! When my water heater broke my first call was to Detour Plumbing as they have been trustworthy and reliable any time of the day or night.

Chris came out and was able to check on everything, get the water heater replaced, and clean up in quickly and efficiently. Jared followed up with me later in the day to check on everything and made sure I was satisfied, which was excellent. Chris even stopped back out the next day to do a follow up to make sure there were no other underlying problems.

I'll say it again, Detour Plumbing is excellent and I wouldn't hesitate

This is the second time I have used Detour plumbing since my wife and I bought a house. I was very impressed with their professionalism, punctuality and quick response time. Chris and his fellow professionals did a great job explaining everything to me and offering different plans for the jobs that needed to be done. I will definitely be using them again, and would suggest Detour to anybody that values their home and wants a quality job done, not a quick, shoddy one.

I requested an estimate for a sewer line replacement. Their technician Chris arrived on time as promised, was friendly and patiently answered all my questions including the process so even a layman like me could understand.

My experience from the call to the receptionist, to receiving text alerts for arrival time, to my experience with Chris left an overall great impression for this company.
