Let’s start with WOW!!! Chip met with me at my new old house promptly when he said he would. I had just purchased a 100 year old house with original heart pine floors. Floors had about a hundred years of poly and use. His crew rolled in and wasted no time at restoring them to their original beauty. His master craftsmen designed a center piece where a fireplace had been. “Mace” did an absolutely beautiful job creating a work of art that will last another 100 years.
I gave Chip a deadline that was pretty aggressive and he delivered on time. His knowledge of finishing is unsurpassed.

Everyone at Auten Wideplank Flooring has been wonderful! The staff is very knowledge and always took the time to answer our questions. Chip is very knowledge about flooring and helped us to make the perfect selection for our floors. The installation crew were kind, well mannered, efficient, and cleaned up after themselves (big plus for me!). Next the sanding/oiling crew were awesome as well. Extremely kind and courteous. They took the time to explain the process of sanding and oiling to me and answered more of my questions. They kindly put a few sample oils on the floor for me to choose from and

Our 5o year old oak floors had decades of yellowing. Their efforts transformed them. The work staff were diligent, proficient and friendly throughout the project. Chip was always available to our questions during the process. We highly recommend them for anyone!

Auten Wideplank Flooring recently refinished some existing hardwood floors in my home and also installed new hardwood in some additional areas that matched perfectly with the newly refinished floors. I was very impressed with the preparation work on the overall project, as well as what was required for refinishing two stairwells including the handrails. Chip Auten and his crew were professional and did an outstanding job! The floors are beautiful and I can highly recommend Auten Wideplank Flooring to anyone who has a need for new flooring or is refurbishing existing hardwood floors.

Chip and his workers did a phenomenal job for us. Our parquet floors were almost 40 years old, and pretty beaten up. Part of the floor had been covered with a custom fitted carpet for 20 years.. They removed the old carpet and pad, sanded the parquet, put three coats of finish on it, and made it look beautiful! We couldn't be happier. They were professional, worked hard, and answered all of our questions. We have one more area that has parquet, and we will probably have them back to do that area one of these days.
