Excellent service experience. I arrived at my scheduled appt time they let me know it would take approximately 90 minutes to complete the service. They completed the service in less than one hour. My bill was $0 all work was under warranty. I sat in the very comfortable lounge area, it didn't seem like I was there for the time that I was. It seemed much faster than the already short wait that I had!

But at Mini, it’s warm, cozy and inviting with comfy seats and tables all around. I enjoyed a vanilla cafe with all the fixings at the coffee station before I looked around at all the fun Christmas items for sale. And then I took a look at every kind of Mini Cooper in the lounge area before I sat down to work while I waited.

We ordered a custom build and our "Motoring Advisor," Ana, was able to link us to a pre-allocated order which shaved at least a month off of our wait to receive the car (it took three months to arrive instead of four, or longer). This dealership used to be terrific back in the Jared days. But it's now so bad that I will never ever buy another Mini--and I've owned two of them going back to 2009. The Mini business staff are completely unresponsive to questions or returning phone calls. The service staff are no better. For an oil change, the service department did not replace the engine cap, something I learned only when I took my Mini in for service at a local authorized BMW/Mini repair center. Replacing it costs over $200. The service people are nasty, the service manager is all talk and no action. A warning

I couldn't be more dissatisfied with their customer service. Mini sold me a car and later informed me it has an incorrect vin. Because of this I couldn't renew the registration. Took this dealership 5 months (!) to confirm the car can't be registered, with almost no communication the last 2 months. I now can't legally drive the car and service manager is unwilling to do more than the bare minimum, after confirming a month ago the car can't be registered. Even had me go to DEQ to confirm they couldn't pull up the correct vin, which I had already done, and then told

Think twice about buying a Mini in Portland. When I purchased my Mini from this dealer back in 2013 it was great. No issues with the sales. The service department is another story. I have had several issues. One time I got a detail as a special along with a regular service. When I got my car back the carpets were soaking wet. So much, there was condensation on the windows.
They don't give you a time slot for a service. When you bring it in who knows when you will get it back. This a couple of times. When you go to a dentist or doctor they schedule you for a time. Here there is no timeframe

I purchased my Mini new from the factory (custom order) through Mini of Portland in 2013. I have never taken it anywhere but Mini of Portland for service. They have always been very thorough in letting me know the condition of my Mini, what services they felt NEED done vs. what could wait, and the time involved. When I need it, they provide a complimentary vehicle for me to use. They even stretch the Uber/Lyft distance limits for me when I don't need a loaner so that I am not out of pocket for transportation to and from my home or work. Are they perfect? We recently came to MINI to purchase a 2011 BMW X5 for my younger brother. This vehicle had just been acquired by the selling dealership so there were no pictures or information posted online. Easy to book an appointment online, friendly service advisors, very nice waiting area with free drinks and WiFi, and work was completed within the timeframe quoted. The technician takes a video when they inspect your vehicle and makes note of condition and any recommendations for repair. They also wash the exterior of your car. Beware! Their website urges a person to sell or trade their car to Mini of Portland in a simple process - bring it in, they will buy it and you'll be your way with the money.
The first two steps are correct. However, you do not receive the payment at this time; they say a check for the agreed upon amount will be mailed to you in 3-5 business days.
It has been 11 business days since I sold my Mini back to them and I still have not received a check!! After multiple calls to them, someone in sales finally told me today the check was mailed to me this morning.

There was a price on the website I felt was fair, and the financing they offered was very good, so I dropped my contact info. Had a phone call from Sam, made an appointment. So easy, right?
I actually went a day early and Sam was there. The car I wanted was at a nearby location, so he let me drive another mini over there. So much fun! Minis are great to drive. We took my car out for a long test

Although we purchased our Mini Cooper from another place, we always get it serviced here. So this review is only about the service experience, not sales. I've been in before and during COVID, the experience was similar both times. I was greeted when I came into the shop and was directed to a service advisor, who was pleasant and helpful both times. The reason for the 4 star review? During my visit, pre-COVID, I presented a coupon for a discount on an oil change that I was there for. Initially, they didn't want to accept it, stating that it was for a "different Mini than mine"

We live in Idaho and found a great used MINI Cooper 2Dr Hardtop on the website at Mini of Portland. We called and spoke with Patrick, in sales. He answered all my questions at the time. He accurately described the vehicles condition to us and promised the car is what he said it was, which was near showroom quality. He quickly took pictures for us of the car and even showed us a pic with a sold sign on it with our last name to show us it was reserved for us We decided to put down a deposit. We let him know that we couldn't be to Beaverton to pick it up until the next Friday. Not a problem

The engine was making an unusual sound as it started up. They stated they had done a full inspection, but as we insisted, they said they would send it to the Audi dealer to have it checked out. A couple of days later, they told us everything checked out fine.
