Mile High Van Lines picked up my belongings on 11/15/2020 in Bellingham WA. They delivered them to Albuquerque on 12/1/2020. It was raining that day, and the crew leader was in a hurry. He coerced my wife into signing quickly and electing the minimum coverage. He didn't like the way some items were packed (too small boxes) and said they would take care of the at the warehouse. Afterward, we thought it would be OK because we had such a good experience with the mover (Atlas) who moved my belongings from Alaska to Washington. Pretty bad experience with this company. The employees who were loading my things had no respect for anything. They were rough, and when I asked them not to turn some items upside down because what was inside was valuable, they did it anyway. When there was about 1/4 of my storage unit left, I was told the original quote was wrong, and they had to charge me more, otherwise they would leave behind what was left. It almost doubled the cost. After the truck arrived at my new home, and everything was unloaded, I told the driver some things were missing. I was told to write what was missing on

I hired this company to move me from Colorado to North Carolina. Jennifer was the "sales person". She was super sweet at first and then became pretty aggressive. Any way she told me it would take 5-7 days for delivery of my things. 12 days later they contacted me saying they were coming the next day and I needed cash or a cashiers check to pay the balance (read their small print) and they couldn't fit their truck down my street so I had to pay extra to have my belongings transferred to a smaller truck. Stuff was smashed I think they played kick ball with my boxes, I was missing

We used this company for moving from WA to TX. I wish I could give them more stars, as they were great loading and very courteous and friendly. It has been three weeks since we asked them to go ahead and deliver our things and they tell us 7-10 days every time. We have no answers as to when and if we will get our things. So for the meantime, we are living in our home on air mattresses we had to go out and buy. I wish somebody would just give us some solid answers and deliver OUR things to us-like we paid for them to do.

A nightmare experience. Cost way more than the estimate. The whole experience was so stressful that I was not even sure I would ever see my belongings again. Take my recommendation and hire a company that will come out to your house and do an estimate that is legitimate! Moving is stressful and this company will make it even worse.

The quotes they give are terribly inaccurate. Did not reassemble beds saying “the hardware is in a box somewhere.” While packing up they forgot about most of the kitchen drawers when they thought they were done. While everything seems to be in tact (except for smaller items that were broken) the whole experience with them was awful and made things incredibly more stressful.

Worst company EVER! Very poor communication, nightmare experience. We scheduled with them , then they kept having “issues” with trucks and never showed up when they said they were going to. Had to keep calling operations manager, Tom Lara who was useless. Lip service only. When the “crew” showed up three days after our “window”, they were all… high, unprepared, didn’t have enough boxes, NO wrapping paper, and full of excuses. Ended up calling the local police dept to get them off the property when they got into a physical altercation with each other

They offered excellent customer service and were very friendly and professional. They were very accommodating to our schedule for pick up and the driver was very friendly and knowledgeable and he really helped with the whole process! Their pricing was excellent! We were able to make payments too! One upon the initial call, one upon pick up, and the last for delivery to my father's new place. The price stayed the same as what we were quoted too! Definitely recommend and would use again if needed!

Honestly if I could give less than one star I would. Where do I even start? Over 28 boxes missing, both of my husband's ladders missing, so many items distroyed!! My brand new kitchen table and entry way bench… destroyed and un usable! The PRICE SWITCH(doubled) AT PICK UP WAS HEART FAILURE AFTER BEING PROMISED ON A RECORDED LINE THAT IT WOULD NOT BE QND WE WOULD MORE THAN LIKELY GET A REBATE BECAUSE HE OVER ESTIMEATED US! WE HAD SEVERAL QUOTES FROM OTHER COMPANIES THAT BEAT OUR QUOTE BY THOUSANDS, BUT I LIKED THE SALES MAN AND DECIDED TO TRUST HIM! DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!!!! RUN RUN

This was the worst experience I've ever had with a company. Not only did my quote double when they did the in-house walk through.. they did not take all our stuff! They couldn't get another truck for the rest of our things and we had to throw out over $2000 worth of stuff. Then when they arrived they came late in the night and did not unpack anything or assemble like it was agreed on. I paid for the full package, and they just dropped off the boxes in the middle of the living room. They also destroyed a lot of our furniture! HORRIBLE, STRESSFUL EXPERIENCE. At load up, suddenly the price for the move goes up $1300. The mover packed some items and it's funny those items were damaged. All, that was said is you have 90days to file a… claim. Christmas time and funny a 40inch TV with its original packing is missing. Along with a nice Shark Vacuum. Several other items were missing. All the boxes had something spilled all over them and a huge stain was left on my love seat. Several items were broken. I went to bed in tears the night of delivery. Vadim and I exchanged a few emails after my review. He looked into our case and apologized for "unsatisfactory service and Tom and Jennifer". He then offered to compensate us $300 "for a missing bookshelf and all the inconvenience you have during the move". I thanked him and accepted saying he could send the funds to me via Zelle. A few days later, he sent the attached image.
I'm not willing to make that deal and be a part of any paid review. I hope my review helps you avoid making the same one we did. Best of luck out there, folks!

Working with Mile High Van Lines was a pleasure! Compared to other companies, the price they quoted was fair and affordable as well. I was hesitant to trust this company with my moving needs as there are so many businesses offering the same service, but they exceeded my expectations.
