I had my 80,000 mile checkup in October. I called a few days ahead to get a quote and it ended up being exactly what they said it would be. My advisor was Matt, who was extremely nice and did a great job at promptly communicating any issues and the next steps. He also did a great job of recommending services, but was not pushy about it at all, and notifying me of a recall I wasn't even aware of. I recommend this dealership as the go-to VW dealership in the area, and I will definitely be back for my 90,000 mile checkup.

I've done business with Leith VW Raleigh for 7+ years.
They bugged me for months to buy my VW since they were low on inventory. After accepting an offer from them, I decided to sell to them because my title was with VW Corporate and I thought it'd be a seamless transaction.
They came to my house to pick up the car and do the paperwork to purchase on a day when I had 103 fever, so I shouldn't have been transacting anyway. Once I signed the documents, I said "where's my check for the difference of what they owed me and my loan pay off". They said it would take 2 weeks

This dealer has the worst customer service department I have ever experienced. I expected more from Volkswagen.
1 claimed they had tire in stock but did not
2 claimed they would call when tire was received but did not
3. Dropped my call when I called in to check on availability
4. Claimed service tech was at lunch and would call within an hour. I finally called back at 1:45 and was told the tire would be ready in :30 minutes so returned to the dealer.
I have purchased two new cars here but will not buy another here and probably not another Volkswagen at any location. I expected better service

I went in for an oil change and waited for the service. After 2 hours, I noticed my car had been brought back and parked out front. I asked the service advisor if the car was ready. He said no. I asked why was it parked out front. Turns out service was completed. Note there were only 2 other customers in the waiting lounge. When I paid and went to the car, a cup of nearly empty soda and a pair of sunglasses had been left in the car. Even worse, the car is under CPO warranty and CarFax had no record of the oil change. Called service department and they offered no help in getting Carfax record updated

I have never written a review before now but I felt it was due. Went for new tires and alignment on my Passat without an appointment. Service advisor warned me that it would take a while to get to my car, but I rarely get a day off work, so I waited. Mentioned my heat wasn't working on passenger side and they fixed that while I was there (warranty). Anyways lunch rolls around and I was still sitting in the nice clean customer lounge and my service advisor brings me lunch. Really nice gesture. Don't find companies like this anymore. A+++ experience!

I went in for routine warranty issues that I assume would be covered. Nowhere in the process was I told I was being charged directly until the end after I repeatedly mentioned my warranty. I walked out having paid over 600 when I would have told them not to do the work if it was going to cost that much but I was never given the option.
Had they mentioned any payment required I'd have insisted my warranty would cover it and ask them to verify. They didn't have my warranty on file or even ask.

Customer Service is Over the Top!
I was unfortunately broken down in Kenly, North Carolina, The closet VW dealership was in Raleigh, NC! I did not realize how lucky that was! After 2 days of bad, I was met by Adam Ridge he listened to my sad story and was all over it quickly. He and the Tech Jeff tried to the best of their abilities to get me back on the road but that was not to be. However the best part was I ended up at this dealership! I was treated with concern respect and the need to help me. Even though the fix would take several days I was kept informed and apprised of the situation at all

This is a review of the certified pre-owned vehicles and services of raleigh volkswagen. If you're considering a pre-owned vehicle I would look at other dealers. Since buying my car I've had some issues and it can be a hassle to work with this dealership. For context the car I purchased is a 2016 model and was 22k mileage. I haven't even had it 6 months and the battery needs changing, the steering has issues and the AC blows hot air. When trying to figure out assistance with this at volkswagen, calls go unreturned or I get transferred around only to be hung up on, I find out that

My wife took her car there for a factory recall issue. Service was probably the worst I have seen at any dealership. The car was dropped off on Monday afternoon and we didn't get it back until late Friday. Any updates we received were because my wife called and asked about the status. She was told on different occasions that they would call her back but never did. Thursday when she called she was told the car would be ready Friday morning and that they would call her. At 3:00 she still had not heard anything so we decided to just show up. Low and behold, they were just finishing test

In 40 years of car ownership this was the worst dealer and especially the worst service department I have ever dealt with. The car (a VW Tiguan) was a total lemon- so that did not help, but rather than trying to make things right, they just made things worse by never honoring the warranty and Leith and VW would just blame me- the owner- for doing things wrong!
I did find an independent garage that actually honored the VW extended warranty so at least someone would fix the car. Leith would continually collect $100 for diagnostics and say its not broken. Even when the timing chain broke and destroyed

What a JOKE the service department is! So upset. Took our car in on 3 occasions for low coolant, had them inspect the vehicle, and perform additional makntenance and they MISSED a bad water pump on 3 separate occassions. This has been ongoing for MONTHS! Took our vehicle on vacation and it took their service department less than a minute with a flashlight to find the issue. NEVER buying here again, find another place to service your vehicle.

Brought my VW CC in for oil change and so far my experience has been great. I was immediately greeted by a service advisor as soon as I entered. As we did the walk around, I had some questions about my car and my service advisor Richard was very helpful. The service was completed in a reasonable timeframe. During my wait in the waiting lounge are complimentary popcorn and coffee and water. They have an area for you to conduct work for business or school. There's even an area for children to keep them occupied. The area is well maintained and clean.

This location used to be absolutely fantastic. I bought my 2015 Jetta Sport here, and was so happy with the sale process and the service department until recently. We have solely taken both of our cars here for service for 2-3 years (we also have a 2013 GLI).
Totally unprofessional and not worth the extra $ anymore.
It seems as though they are falling in line with other dealerships with price gouging their customers rather than being transparent. It's unfortunate, since this was never the case before.
They also refuse to do service washes, "since May," as per one employee today

After receiving the internet quote on a Saturday we were called by the Captial Blvd. store asking us if we wanted to see the car and we replied yes. The lady told us it would have to be transferred from Cary to the Capital store but that's no problem and we would be called when the vehicle is there ... certainly before 2:30pm. Never heard from anyone at the Capital store again. EVER.
