Called to schedule repair service at 7:00 AM on a Wednesday. My appointment time was scheduled for 11:00 AM the same morning. They made sure that I was aware of the $29 service call fee, so no surprises. Jose arrived around 10:20 AM, and within 30 minutes he replaced both cables and adjusted the balance on the door.

I shopped for best price on the opener all around and found a great price but they were located in the far north burbs well I want a local business, so Woodfield called and I told them my best price and they said they would match it.They showed up a hour later installed it and I'm happy. I contacted them thru Facebook and I received an immediate response from the owner. He was very helpful and provided answers to all my questions about the garage doors and openers. He gave me an honest estimate for everything. He understands that getting a complete dual garage door systems is a big decision and he walked ne thru everything and… didn't pressure me whatsoever. One of his tech came to measure and gave me samples and very nice person. The systems that I wanted was on stock and Joe came in and replaced my wooden garage doors and install the new doors. He was alone but very efficient

Our garage door was bouncing up and could only be shut by the mounted remote inside the garage. Freddy came out on his last call of the day at 7PM, noticed that there had been damage to the door and suggested a door replacement. When we told him we were not ready to purchase a new door he was able to reset the detector so that the door would stay shut.
Freddy was prompt, professional and courteous. He helped keep our garage securely shut while we decide about the the new garage door.

I had a broken garage door spring. I contacted North Shore Garage Doors and John was the best. He quoted me a great fixed price. No games. He was very clear on what it would cost, and when the service tech would be out.
The garage technician, Freddy, showed up exactly on time. He is a great guy and definitely knew his business. He was very focused and got the job done in a very timely manner. He explained exactly what he was going to do, then executed. He additionally pointed out an issue. Of course, I'm used to techs doing the old "you know you need this or that." However, that wasn't the case

I spoke with Michael and Shontae who in the same day (really within a few hours) scheduled someone to come to my house which I thought was impressive. David was the technician that came today. He was VERY knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions and really made me understand what was going on. Also, David put me at ease that my garage door system is good but recommended a safety mechanism their company does. This team addressed things efficiently and effectively. I needed a broken spring on my garage door replaced. When I was contacted by North Shore they said they could fix the problem today and were available until 6pm. Freddy was awesome. He arrived early and was waiting for me to arrive from work. He went over the work and completed the job before I knew it. He was very thorough and made sure the door was balanced and operating properly before he left. A great technician and an awesome person. North Shore will be my first choice for any future repairs. I highly recommend them.

North Shore was great. I called on a Friday evening with a broken spring and wires on my garage door and they were out within the hour to fix it. The front office was helpful in explaining what turned out not to be covered on my prior service warranty, and the technician, Freddy, was friendly and efficient in getting the job done.
