We are a small family owned and operated garage door and lock company. We have been subcontractors for other companies for 12 years and decided to open our own business. Instead of quickly training a bunch of worker bees and shipping them around town - in attempt to catch as many jobs as possible, we wanted to offer a more personal and professional service.

I started AD Garage Doors and Locks after observing how other companies ran; a call center dispatching jobs to a team of worker bees churning out jobs by the numbers, it seemed so impersonal - more like a system.

I can’t really comment on the work although i’m positive they would’ve done a more than satisfactory job if they are even half as proficient as Ami was on the phone. I didnt end up using them only bc I was in a real pinch when my garage spring snapped on Christmas morning and understandably he didnt have anyone available until Monday. He did respond pretty instantly and spent more time than he needed to (again on xmas day) informing me of various springs as well as the whole process. Id no idea prices could range so widely and it helped me decline the first quote bc they were way too high

Excellent experience. Within hours of me reaching out on Yelp, Ami was at my front door, and he did an excellent job fixing my lock issues. Ami was highly knowledgeable and patient, taking time to answer all of my questions and ensuring that I was satisfied with the final result. I had an extremely positive experience with Ami, which stood in stark contrast to another garage door service who showed up unexpectedly a few minutes before him. Our garage door wouldn’t close, the guide rail had bent badly, and a roller had come out of the guide rail. The other company said that it would cost $300 for them to only close the garage door, that it could not be repaired, and that I would have to buy a new door. Ami said that he could completely repair the existing door and that I should wait on buying a new garage door because he would get mine working properly. He fixed everything

Excellent experience.
We called Ami on a weekday evening after 8:30 PM when I was sure no one would come to look at our garage which had suddenly collapsed off its hinges and could not be shut properly. Ami was at our home within 25 minutes and methodically worked until we could shut the door for the night.
He then came back the next day and replaced the garage door (in the middle of a snowstorm, no less!) and took the time to ensure we understood how to take care of the door.
He picked up his phone whenever I called and cleaned up thoroughly.

Ami's professionalism, expertise, and straightforward approach for my garage door replacement project throughout--from the moment he responded to my request for an estimate, to the estimate discussion we had, to the installation itself--were impressive. The job went exactly as he had described it to me. For example, Ami said he would call between 8 and 10 a.m. and arrive in that window--he called at 7:45 a.m. and arrived at 9. My husband and I locked ourselves out of our place this morning and Ami was just the person we needed to be connected with. I called several other locksmiths who quoted much higher prices and were also not available ASAP. Ami was at our place promptly in 15 minutes, was incredibly nice, got us into our place and made us spare keys. Ami was great! He replaced all of our locks on our new home and every single lock, even the gate, is on the same key. The handles look great and he was able to do everything the same day he came out to walk through everything with us. He was able to get the doors to fit better and we are really happy with the way everything turned out.
