I used this moving company for a cross country move from Baltimore to California And they were confusing to deal with from the starting. They never indicated that they would have to rely on another carrier to do the cross country move and after booking them, I received no updates until the morning of the move. i arrived in california august 1st, and proceeded to call Friendly Movers every week after that, they never had any update for me. I did not receive my furniture until October 2nd, and it was missing the hardware to reassemble the furniture. I've been promised a partial refund For tardiness

I haven't had stuff moved yet but have already been through a lot. I had a move scheduled between 12-2. I called around 1:30 looking for the movers, only to hear that my move for the day is cancelled because the move before mine was taking a lot longer than expected... and wouldnt be done till 6pm. No other crew members could come out and by that time it was too late to call another moving company. The move is rescheduled for the next morning but that is it. Very unprofessional. Informed my friend, who was moving, they were going to have to move quick because they had a job in another state for more money. (We were giving the dollar amount of 3000 for the “more money” job). Left the couch in the garage instead of moving the furniture into the new place first. Opened the refrigerator (on the their own) and complained there was no water for them and had an attitude when asked to wear a mask. We have used before and never had this type of service. If this is how they are operating now I will no longer be using.

This has been the worst experience of my life I hired them to safely move my items from one destination to the other that was not the case my coffee glass table was broken into a million pieces and it is beyond repair in addition they stripped the screw to my daughters crib. I hired them to safely move assemble and disassemble the items They have not forfilled their contract because my items did not arrive safely or assembled and reassembled properly my table was broken into 1 million pieces and my daughters crib screws were stripped if I saw a review like this before hiring them I would not have

Moved with them back in April. Estimate was $599. MOVE WAS GREAT (nothing broken). The end total was $900 after one worker decided to hop on his phone instead of moving my belongings I was paying him for. Lastly the mover said "do you have money for a tip?" And I said "not now". Which then entailed a comment from the mover saying "well, I'll have you explain to the guys why you can't provide them a tip."
That was the most disrespectful experience I've encountered in a long time from someone. I of course reported it and got $100 back on a $900 move

We had a complicated move in that our stuff was going to 3 separate places. The guys from Friendly Movers were great. On time, efficient, great attitudes even when things got a bit tricky. They were clearly professionals, which they demonstrated time and again throughout the move. The price was competitive and fair. I will be hiring them again if I need movers, and I highly recommend them!

Friendly Movers was the best! From the first call Beata to go over the initial quote and then the actual move with Ramon and Lucio; everything exceeded my expectations. The rate was more than fair for the move services provided to me. They were punctual, professional and skilled with taking apart and reassembling my furniture which included a four poster canopy bed and other heavy items.
I will definitely use Friendly again and I highly recommend them to everyone moving.

I would definitely use this moving company again. The Customer Experience from the estimate unit the move was completed was the very best experience, even with last minute changes. Teresa was always available to speak with me, very professional, friendly and accurate. The movers arrived on time and were very professional, friendly and helpful. The cost was reasonable, pretty much what I expected to pay.

The men themselves were great, prompt, and reasonably careful.
I would like to give more starts - I would.
However - I had filed a SMALL damage claim with them right after moving at the end of April 2019, and STILL no answer. Literally $150 of damage, was and still am willing to settle for $100.
The other issue was that they somehow ended up billing me over $800 for a $600 quote. Possibly because there were pieces of furniture that they spent 30-45 minutes wrapping (still lost pieces - part of the claim) and I still had other small damages. (Not with the overwrapped pieces.)

I contacted Friendly Movers several months prior to my move with detailed information regarding my move( size of my apartment, what was fragile and so on) I spoke with Theresa each time. Decided to use this company. Payed my $100 deposit. On Saturday 20, 2019. My actual move day. The two guys Hernando and his partner, was totally suprised upon getting on the job. I was told by Hernando that (fragile)items that required wrapping to be moved was not listed and he would have to charge me for those items.. (what!!!) I provided details prior to ( Theresa) not only that.. he ( Hernando) said the truck

They even called in the morning to let me know that they could arrive earlier as they finished their previous job early. I gave 4 stars rather than 5 because, due to an error in the office, after making the arrangements for my move and paying the deposit the movers did not show up to my home in moving day. When I called, the young lady was very apologetic and assured me that my move could occur on that day. She called me back within 5 minutes and told me that a crew would be at my home within 2 hours. When the crew showed up, they were awesome! They wrapped and padded every piece of my furniture and took great care with each item. They were professional and polite as well as incredibly efficient. Friendly Movers was referred to me by a friend and they really did an excellent job! We had a 3 man crew that was on time and really worked hard!! They took special care of my furniture and never once hit/scraped/touched a single wall when they packed out my large and heavy items!! They listened to me and cared about my possessions!! *** I packed my own boxes and they moved them to their storage facility (until my new home is finished)...THE ONLY thing I would change about the experience = I wish I would have let them pack all my items!!! That would have saved (me) a lot of time and effort!
