This report has been a long time in coming, but it is worth sharing since the work conducted on my house in Reno has required two additional repairs after Mike Sammler re-roofed my house. Let me explain. My HOA in Reno, NV dictated what roofing material was acceptable in a re-roofing project. So, I set out to do my homework on selecting a material for the new roof as well as selecting a roofing company. That task led me to a roofing supply firm in north Reno. This is the second house Sammler Roofing has reroofed for us. In fact, Sammler has done my mom and dad’s house and my in-law’s residence as well. With four houses to his name, I guess that makes us Sammler groupies. But for good reason. Michael and his team do a great job at a fair price.
Our latest adventure with Sammler involved removing our home’s original, worn-out 30-year old roof. He also added two 2’x4’ Velux skylights.

Michael and his team were great. It all started with a timely and thorough estimating process. Michael came out and personally inspected the roof and asked me about all of my concerns. He was upfront about the potential variable cost associated with repairing the decking. He could not accurately estimate that cost before the demo work was done, but he provided a ball park. The actual cost came in at the bottom of the ballpark estimate he gave. We had gotten a couple other estimates. All of them were very similar in price, but Michael's thorough inspection and transparency regarding the variable

Michael was very professional and did an excellent job roofing my house. I needed the job done soon and he was able to do that for me. He was easy to contact and was quick to call back. He cleaned up the whole area and made sure I was happy with the job. He has very competitive rates and uses quality materials. This is so important for the reno area due to the amount of sun and high winds. I would highly recommend Michael.

Mike was very professional. Even though I wanted a roofing material that he didn't usually use he did not complain or try to get me to change my mind. He has a good crew and very nice to be around. clean up was good and made sure that there was no material that flew into neighbors yard. Waited a couple of weeks to get the final payment to make sure that we were completely happy. It is good to know that there are still good companies out there.

Our home insurance company required a re-roof of our property. Mike was prompt and thorough and was more than willing to provide additional documentation that the insurance company required.
