Brandon and the team painted our basement and did a great job. My wife was anxious about the color scheme to the point that most contractors might lose patience. Karen, Brandon and Hillary were all very professional and took time to listen and provide suggestions. I am very happy with the work and will be a repeat customer in the future.

BEYOND IMPRESSED with Karen and all of her staff team. She painted a large dental clinic I manage in Louisville and she and her team were just amazing to work with. The project had many challenges to work around due to the space we are in and the staff handled it so professionally and were amazing to work with. We had the entire interior of our dental offices painted, including all walls, ceilings, vaulted ceilings, etc. and everyone is blown away at how beautiful our new space looks. The team of painters were timely and finished the project right on time. I would highly recommend this company

I've used Karen's Company a couple of times over the last decade. I've also dabbled in the Thumbtack realm to get jobs done. Big difference between the two. You might pay a little more for Karen's Co. work, but in return you get quality work by professional employees. BTW, they recently saved me well over $2k by offering a creative solution to an tricky area that needed some love. Looks great now!

Unethical and low morals. We agreed to a salary based pay and I was cut short due to missing 2 work days for a family death. A check was issued when I brought it up and then they cancelled the check.
They can reply however they like but they are a disgrace to humanity. They are also being sued by a fellow employee.
Stay away from this family.

My wife did a lot of on-line research on cabinet painting which led us to Karen’s Company for an estimate to paint our kitchen cabinets. Felix provided the estimate and commented that they could possibly clean and touch up the doors since the boxes were in very good shape. We elected to go this way and Felix provided a revised quote that provided a great option. We gave them one door to do as a mock-up and it turned out great, it made everything else look horrible! We moved forward with the job and were pleasantly surprised with the result. Amy and the crew in the paint shop did an amazing job

Only average painting, but way overpriced painting and majorly flawed. True, they were able to paint my second floor in one day, but there they left blue specks of paint on my white walls (think Jackson pollock) and blue paint on my light fixtures (which they reinstalled upside down, which I had to fix myself). The worst part was that the 'professionals' listened to very very graphic violent rap the whole time. I love hip hop and I listen to rap and this was the grosest stuff I've ever heard. They talked loudly about all the drugs they did at some party the night before. No consideration

Karen and her crew did such an amazing job! Karen herself came in to do the estimate and was very accurate and gave us the best quote we could find.
She was able to fit us into a gap a couple days later and our dream home was transformed from this ugly yellow color to the bright white we always wanted!
Her team was very accurate and clean, no spilling, or drops. They were extremely precise and finished our house within a day and a half. My fiancee and I couldn't have been more happy. Highly recommend!!!!

I am all about supporting local small businesses but unfortunately this has been a somewhat disappointing experience. After the initial job was done we found several issues. Painters left dirty cover in one of the rooms, forgot to reinstall outlet covers and left some tools and a ladder they used. But what really disappointed us is that the actual paint job wasn't good. There were a few small paint splatters on the floor and furniture which we managed to get out.. Main issue was that Part of the paint used on the walls (grey) got on the ceiling (white). I did not have a very good experience with Jillian and Karen, as far as customer service was concerned. So I was a little uneasy with the decision I made to hire them. However, Amy and her crew changed my whole experience. She was wonderful! Kind and knowledgeable. They went above the call of duty and helped me with some painting that I couldn't do myself. They also were awesome enough to finish the job in one day. They did bend my brand new light fixture and they were supposed to come look at it. So far they have rescheduled on me 3 times to come out and look.

I didn't actually hire Karen's company - my neighbors did. Karen's painters saw that the company I had hired to paint my home's exterior had missed a big patch above the garage. They also offered to paint that part themselves free of charge, which they did. It was just a really nice thing to do and I'm grateful for it.

Fantastic experience from start to finish! Karen is incredibly detailed and thorough. She was very patient, as our project hit some delays, but she was accommodating to our changing schedule. Her crew is top-notch! So professional and just enjoyable people to have in your home. I wouldn't use anyone else for my house painting now that I've found Karen's. Decent painting job, but Karen wanted an hour of extra pay to remove some tile grout that took my buddy 10 minutes to do. Given my past experience with painting companies, I thought scraping caulk for a bit is just part of any painter's prep work. Also, I wasn't impressed with their sales technique of bidding really high; and when I didn't call back for a few days, they called and lowered the estimate by almost 30%!

I did not feel valued as a customer. We asked for an invoice before, during and after the painting and all we got was "we are too busy, but will get to it". That never happened, never saw any kind of invoice two weeks later. I have never had a painter not provide a breakdown of expenses. I have no idea if I was even charged correctly or the rate I was quoted. The job was good and they were able to fit me in right away ... but the neglected invoice seems to over ride that.

We have used them in the past and were pleased with the results. So when we moved into our new home we called them again for an estimate. Karen usually does the estimates but this time her husband was the one we dealt with. He said he'd email us within a week to let us know what the price would be but after a week and a half I had to call him. He apologized and said to expect his email within a couple hours...that was two weeks ago. Very unfortunate too because customer service was always excellent when we were dealing with Karen.

As new transplants to Colorado, we relied upon our realtor's suggested provider list to find a company to help us do some interior painting in our new home.

We got estimates from two companies, one of which was Karen's Company. Jeff, Karen's husband and business partner, was great to work with through the estimate process. They gave us quotes for multiple rooms, giving us flexibility on what we would paint on a DIY basis vs what they would paint. This helped immensely when budgeting for the project.
