I've been a customer of Accent Painting since 1997. I've owned four homes during this time, across a variety of architectures and neighborhoods for which Accent has done both interior and exterior work. For each project, Accent has performed a variety of services including color consultation, power washing, sanding/scraping of walls, trim and decking.

Excellent painting from start to finish. Pat spent about an hour with me during my estimate helping me to pick out the right color. I sat on his bid for months and called him back 6 months later and he picked up without a hitch and had my house painted within weeks. What was really fast was his crew - they were in and done in a day. No paint drips, no mess, the best paint job. EXCELLENT work!

Paint job was really nice, all the painters were professional and good at their job. Things feel apart however when it came to communication with the supervisor. We never knew what time the painters were showing up or what the plan was for the entire job. We ended up having to ask them to stop painting so we could get out of the garage. If we had know when they were going to show up we would have left earlier. When we asked for touch ups (responsibility of the supervisor) the response was so delayed we ended up doing it ourselves.

Pat and team completed our dining room and exterior of our home. We're still impressed with the team's professionalism and attention to detail. Pat McLain and his crew were amazing. They were very professional and the quality of the job was excellent. We had both the inside and outside of our house done and will recommend them to our friends and neighbors. Everyone was so nice and respectful and were great about working around our dogs and cats. Pat and his team did a fantastic job painting our home. Pat came out first and bid the job, he asked all the right questions, upfront so there were no surprises. He explained how they would power wash first, caulk any unsealed areas, tape-off trim, and how they paint. He explained the paint differences and how long each would last. (we ultimately went with Sherwin Williams Super Paint) His team showed up on the day they said they would (7am on a Friday) and were finished on Saturday at noon, Our neighbors could not believe they knocked it out in a day and a half. Accent painted our home this summer, and we are very pleased with the results. Pat was helpful with color selection and was very communicative (via phone and mail). After reviewing NextDoor posts, we invited companies to present bids for painting our house and barn. We found Accent Painting and Pat McLain to be the most responsive and professional! Our final walk around was today and we could not be more pleased! The team he sent to our home was very professional and friendly. Each member of the team had a purpose and went about it meticulously and with a spirit of perfection. The prep work was phenomenal and impressed my husband who hesitated to hire anyone for fear they wouldn't do that part right and compromise the long-term integrity of the job

We read many reviews and got 4 bids before choosing Accent Painting to paint the exterior of our two story home. They weren't the highest or the lowest bid. It was the impression that Pat made on us that made our choice clear. After we obtained HOA approval, Pat quickly got us onto their schedule. Milton came out a few days ahead to power wash the house. They arrived promptly on the day they agreed to start painting. Pat was there to get things started by confirming paint colors and by recommending that we go a touch less bright on the trim. Pat, Gabriel and their team were amazing! Pat gave me a quote on the spot and it was much lower than the other bids i got. They were able to schedule and complete the job in one weekend. We were out of town and came home to a beautiful new home. They even re hung all the decor back on the house! I strongly recommend them! Very reliable, kind and trust worthy.

Pat advertises his company as "Denver's Best Painters." Well, I obviously haven't tried every painting company in the metro area; but, if Accent Painting is not the best, it must be close to the very best. Pat and crew not only always kept all appointments in a timely fashion but finished painting the exterior of my house in three days, working morning until evening. Part of the first day was spent on my rather extensive siding repair and Gabriel, a crew member, performed miracles with that work. Pat has painted three houses for me now. All were built prior to 1925 and thus had lead paint. Pat and his crew were solid professionals and were very patient with us on choosing colors and in painting our craftsman cottage in all the meticulous detail it deserves. We now have a beautiful primary home and two rental properties that our tenants can be proud to live in. My mom is very particular about color and Pat was very patient with all of her changes, even the last minute ones.
