We did a total remodel of our house. When I wasn’t happy with something, they fixed it. They weren’t good about cleaning up after themselves. I told them I wanted the ceilings painted white, but Jake picked his own color of off white. One of the windows they put in was faulty and months later they replaced it, had it stuccoed, but never came back to paint it. They don’t respond to my texts. I painted it myself. We are happy with the end result, but you have to keep on them.

Amax remodeled our kitchen & we couldn’t be happier with their expertise, workmanship, quality & timing. Jake was here to see the job finished the entire day didn’t leave until everything was hooked back up & looking great.
Greg is excellent at bidding the job with a fair price & expert contractors that do the job.

They are very professional, clean and timely. It is nice to deal with people that take pride in their work. They leave the work area clean, they give you a schedule and adhere to it. Jake and Greg have remodeled both of our bathrooms and built our patio cover. We are very satisfied with the work we have had done and we highly recommend them.

We started an extensive remodel of a 18-year old home (kitchen, master and guest bath, electrical work, all floors etc.) with another another general contractor but it went south quickly. Greg and the AMAX team stepped in and salvaged the project. They have great eye for coloring, matching paint, tile, granite to cabinets, etc. AMAX pricing was competitive; their crew is hard working, clean and very respectful of your property. Most important, the quality of their work was top-notch. There were a few hiccups along the way (There usually are!), but they always made good and the results were impressive

Greg was very responsive and his bid was competitive. I only did 4 stars as we did not end up having AMAX do the job but felt his responsiveness, competitive bid, and suggestions/recommendations warranted a positive review. We had a friend/contractor become available that we chose to go with. With that said I'm fairly certain AMAX would have gotten the job.

After reading their profile and reviews on another website, I decided to talk with AMAX Builders to discuss a kitchen remodel. I had just gone through a month of bad experiences with two different contractors; one had been recommended by a friend and the other was recommended by another well-known website.
I contacted Jake Hardy of AMAX and set up an appointment to meet with him and his business partner, Greg. From the very start I got good vibes from Jake and Greg. They were very cordial and knew what they were talking about, easy to talk to and great listeners. A time frame was established

I am extremely happy with the work done by amax on my home. The harwood flooring is beautiful and done to perfection. I also had my home painted, baseboards replaced, and countertops replaced everything is perfect!! Jacob and Greg were very professional and above all trustworthy, I would use this company again in a heartbeat!!
