Our senior management team has over 120 years of combined business-management and home-building experience. Based in Meadow Vista, California, today we design, build, and remodel custom homes throughout Northern California's Gold Country, including Placer, Nevada, El Dorado, and Butte counties. We can help you design and build your residential construction project from Newcastle to Truckee and from El Dorado Hills to Paradise, CA.
Our home designs can be built "as is" or they can easily be customized to your budget, style, and priorities. The exteriors can be finished in different architectural styles, including: Craftsman, Country, Farmhouse, Mountain, Santa Barbara, Ranch, etc. We design and build high-quality, new custom homes in Northern California.
We built a second story, over the garage, on this beautiful, Mountain Modern home in the Winchester Country Club. It included a media room with a 100 screen, exercise/yoga room, and bathroom. On the ground floor, we added a golf-cart garage and a bathroom for the pool area. We design and build home improvement projects in and around Auburn, Loomis, and Grass Valley, CA.

My husband and I interviewed several builders for our custom build and there was no doubt that Mike (Sherman) was the right fit for us. We loved his down to earth attitude and quality work! He and his team were responsive and walked us through the process, while having the patience to answer our endless questions! While it seems like a build never goes as quickly as you would like, we were kept updated and knew exactly when things were being done, which was great! We are so happy to be in our forever home and would definitely recommend Sherman homes to anyone looking to build!

First class custom home designer and builder; great team! We hired Mike Sherman and his team to build our new, custom home. They did a fantastic job. Our new house is super high quality, with excellent workmanship and attention to detail. They were fast, efficient, and fun to work with.
