Comfort Air Heating and Cooling is a locally, family owned company based in Springfield, Illinois. It was founded in 1995, however the Krueger family has been a part of the heating and cooling industry since 1974. After completing his service in the U.S. Army, Comfort Air owner Cliff Krueger found that he needed something to occupy his time.
We keep our service vehicles stocked with a wide variety of parts to fix most heating and air conditioning repairs. If we do not have the correct part in stock, we will do our best to get the part ordered and installed quickly, returning your home to the comfort you deserve. To protect spaces in your home, we place drop cloths onto the floor to keep things clean as we work.

Cannot say enough great things about Comfort Air! They tried hard to fix our 25-year-old furnace, and when it needed to be replaced, they provided excellent service. From the office to the technicians, everyone was efficient, kind, super easy to work with, and wonderful. They replaced our furnace in one day and cleared away every spec of dirt. Tim and Gary took the time to walk me through the new thermostat and the controls on the new humidifier. We will definitely use them again and would recommend Comfort Air to anyone!

Critical: Professionalism
Comfort Air Heating & Air Conditioning is the worst company, they are "very unprofessional" and not reliable, I just can't trust them at all. guy came at my home has a really bad eyes. also their charge is so high as well. I highly not recommend this company.

Few months ago I called comfort air hundreds of times for installing the ductless heating and AC system at my house but every time lady said someone contact me, but did not heard anything yet, so I just stop calling them because its look like they don't care.
I did not use this company in past so I'm not sure why they're doing this. "VERY POORE SERVICE" :-(

Can't thank you enough for the last couple of days. Out quick when the furnace died. Loaned us space heaters to get through the night when the ol' girl couldn't be brought back to life...and managed to get the new furnace in the next day (and cleaned up practically every spec of mess from the job). Would absolutely recommend!!!

Our furnace went out and we chose to call Comfort Air for an estimate because 3 of our family members have been satisfied, long time customers. We did not book a second estimate because we were confident that we were going with Comfort Air. We called on Thursday morning and were told not to worry that we would definitely be worked in on Friday for an estimate. My husbands phone number was left and the technician was going to call him when he was on the way. 4:30 on Friday came around and no one had been here nor called. We called the office and they were closed. My husband waited at home all day
