Corbin & McMahan was started in 1978 by Jim Corbin and Bob McMahan. The two had worked together for many years at another local company with Jim as a gutter and duct installer and Bob as service manager. The company was originally started to provide Macon and surrounding counties with quality installation of heating and air equipment and duct work as well as guttering.

The technician came out and, unbeknownst to him I have just under two decades of contractor experience, he took the time to check the unit and duct system, informed me of what he was doing with each step, and had the heart of a teacher, making sure as the customer that I was aware of what was going on with each step.

My husband placed a service call with them for our Freon to be topped off in our AC unit and received the run-around. First time he called, a woman took his number and "someone would call." After a few hours, he called back and a different woman answered and said that "the men were gone when you called the first time but they are back now, let me go talk to them about how soon we can get to you". These are some of the friendliest people you'll ever meet. Bob & Tim were very prompt in coming out to give us an estimate and we immediately felt that these were some people we could trust and wanted to do business with. They gave us a fair price so we immediately scheduled our installation with them. Our installers, Mark & Ethan, were very professional, knowledgeable, and worked in a very timely manner. These guys are true professionals. They came in and completely replaced our home HVAC system in just a matter of hours (not days) and were very thorough and friendly. We just had a whole house air conditioning (heat pump) with back up gas system put in. These are some of finest people we have worked with. We got a quick estimate with installation starting as soon as the system came in. All work men were hard working and very good at their jobs. They even vacuumed my basement before they left!!! I believe they deserve more than 5 stars!!
