I had a small move of a few appliances. SOS had the most competitive quote and were able to schedule the soonest.
I had two movers (Zhora and Zorig) come by, wrap the appliances and move them quickly and efficiently. Great job by the two of them and I had my move wrapped up pretty quickly. There was still a three hour minimum but that seems to be the standard going rate.
Great experience overall, will use again.

We had a smooth move with Alex and Zhora. They took a bit longer than expected, but I guess we could have used a third person. We also thought they should have a flatbed so moving could be faster with items like plants. Overall, we are happy to have used movers for our move for minimal lifting. Would recommend using their service.

The movers were excellent and moved efficiently. They disassembled furniture when needed, and wrapped items with blankets, plastic wrap, and tape so things didn't get damaged in the move. They bring plenty of wardrobe boxes, moving dollies, and tape. These folks also will assemble the furniture once you get there. Our move took about 5.5 hours and they only took a 5min break after we loaded the truck. I would absolutely use them again!

The SOS team was a pleasure to work with! I was thrilled that they were able to accommodate me with only 2 days notice. The team communicated well and worked efficiently and took good care of my belongings. The price was what I was quoted with no additional fees and a 4 person team was able to move my 1 bedroom apartment in just over 5 hours.

Giving 4 of 5 because of a billing issue, which has since been resolved.
The men showed when they said they would. They moved everything out and in as fast as they could, asking questions and offering suggestions when needed.
I would recommend them if you are planning a move. Word to the wise, hire more men than you think you need!

DO NOT USE THESE UNPROFESSIONAL MOVERS! They will rob you by milking time and break your things in the process.
First, we scheduled service for 3 guys to move our 2 bedroom apartment less than 10 miles. Only two showed up; the third was 30 minutes late. Honestly not a big deal if the rest didn't happen. The lead guy, Zhora asked us if they would be moving our 2 mirrors, gym weights and TV's (all which we noted in our moving questionnaire) to which we told him "yes, all needs to be moved". He looked at us annoyed and huffed and puffed around like he was bothered that he had

Tdlr; Zhora and his crew were very communicative and professional, I would definitely hire them again.
I hired a team of 2 for $139/hr (min of 3 hours required) to move a studio sized amount of belongs from storage into my new apartment. There is no hidden truck or gas fee - the hourly rate is what you get!
Although there was an hour window for arrival, Zhora texted me the day of the move with the ETA so I was able to get to my unit accordingly. They moved fast and were able to get all my belongs to my apartment in 2 hrs! I appreciate their pace and would recommend SOS moving.

Zhora and the rest of the crew were very professional and hardworking.
They arrived on time, as scheduled. They took good care of everything and they acted like they were moving their own personal belongings. They accomplished an excellent job which originated from my home and items were delivered and securely stacked in a Public Storage in Hayward, CA.
I will definitely recommend SOS Moving to everyone!

Alex, Arman, and Zhora packed, sealed, disassembled, and delivered our belongings from our 3 bedroom house in San Leandro, CA to Rocklin, CA. Even our precious cargo (our plants: fig trees, monsteras), took a ride on the delivery truck, and made it to their new home in one piece! Not a single piece of furniture was damaged, and zero scratches on the floors or walls. I could go on and on about how great these guys are...but actions speak louder than words

These guys are fantastic. It was my first time using a moving company and they did not disappoint. The workers were professional and friendly. They handled my furniture and boxes with care and worked quickly. Originally, I was debating if two workers were enough, but I ended up going with three and that was the right decision. The move went a lot faster and while two of the workers were moving boxes, the other would be prepping the furniture for transport.
Zhora was our main contact and he was very helpful and a great communicator. They texted reminders and updates regularly during the move

Alex, Dan and his team of 3 were amazing from the start of the move to the finish. There were a lot of details to coordinate and they managed to go with the flow every step of the way.
Dan was great at communication throughout, and as other reviewers have mentioned, there are NO hidden charges for flat rate moves, just an incremental hourly rate above 3 hours which is totally reasonable. This includes plastic wrap, tape, etc.
There were a couple of moments where I recommended furniture NOT be disassembled simply due to my concern about it being put back + the time it would take to do so. Other
