Moving internationally is challenging enough. You have to find a home, sometimes remotely. You need to make sure your visa and your family's visas are in order. You need to make sure you've updated your international driving permit, and secured your children's school. You may even need to transfer your banking.
An interstate move is one that takes you across state lines and is generally more involved than an intrastate move (within the state). Interstate moving is more complicated, not only because of the regulations involved, but because you're transporting your most valuable possessions a longer distance.
At 1776 Moving & Storage, we understand that shipping freight isn't as simple as getting merchandise from point A to point B. Freight does not simply get picked up with a moving truck, shipped and then dropped off at it's destination. There are many stops along the way. The most important stop is picking up and delivering from your shipment's final hub.

The move was absolutely amazing! It's incredible! They arrived ahead of time, and they wrapped our items with care and kindness. When moving our items onto their van, they were exceedingly careful to ensure that nothing was broken. This group is deserving of a lot of praise. Very professional and courteous. We just used 1776 for our move in Laureate Park, Lake Nona and they were awesome! Best pricing, very responsive office staff, flexible when we changed our move date twice. Called the day before with time confirmation and to answer any questions. Got a text in the morning when they were on their way, the crew was nice, very efficient and protected all of our furniture, more than I have seen any other mover do in the past. Great to work with and I will definitely recommend them to friends/family. Thanks for all your help!

This is the best moving company. They take the time to wrap every piece of furniture. The guys that did the move were so great as well. Very professional and quick. The move was completed with no damage to our furniture.
Also the quote was a little higher than the actual cost so I wasn’t surprised with any overage charges. This is a very well run company! Great job!

My husband and moved from Georgia to Florida. We haven’t moved in 22 years, so we were quite nervous about the move. Jamie was our customer service representative. She was so kind, patience and answer all my questions and concerns. When the moving team arrived Quincy, Jerome and forgive me I think the 3rd guy’s name was Kenny. They were professional, friendly, worked efficiently and treated our items as if they were moving their own home. If I could have given them ten stars, I would have! This was BY FAR the easiest move I have had with professional movers. And I've moved a lot! The truck rolled up exactly at the time indicated. The three young men doing the moving were personable, professional, and efficient. One asked me if I was ready to see the fastest move of my life, and he wasn't kidding! They didn't waste a moment of time, and got right to work carefully wrapping up even my shabbiest furnishings.

I had outlined my conversations with the two managers I spoke with after the move. One was extremely unapologetic and said the dirt was my fault as I had them move a couple of plants. I explained to him I was not talking about my dirt I was talking about other peoples dirt his employees brought in to both the condo they moved out and the home they moved the furniture. He became quite defensive and I simply let him know I was calling to let them know why I was going to give them a negative review.

This is a horrible company! All the movers arrived to our house a little bit late not even wearing masks during this covid pandemic. This was very concerning to us. They are so unprofessional, disrespectful and careless. They damaged so many of our things including furniture, collectibles and valuables. We had boxes labeled fragile and everything in them was broken once I opened them up. It rained very hard on and off that day and they refused to work during that time and they left many of our things out on the street by the truck to get completely soaked. We have no complaints. The men were very professional, patiently wrapped our most fragile possessions, and worked hard to get us moved as quickly and efficiently as possible. They even moved our hot tub. We found most companies were not willing to do that. I would recommend them to others and would definitely use them in the future.

After a year being out of our home from Hurricane Irma 1776 Movers returned our goods. Before they would unload they made me pay them and sign that everything was ok. Well it was not. They charged me $2,900 in packing supplies but when they returned the boxes they had recycled boxes from a move to Alaqua
Every closet had their clothes dumped into a large box. Not hung in a garment box but dumped hangers and all.
Broken furniture, destroyed antiques, stolen property, and clothes damaged. After filing a claim and the adjuster shaking his head at what they had done they offered us $260.00.

This is my second time using 1776 Moving and Storage and I am still just as happy with them as the last time! They wrap everything and are very efficient with their time. They make moving a breeze, which is helpful since moving can be a stressful time. Highly recommend, and I will use them the next time I move!

Alvin, Jared and Kevin were fast, careful and pleasant during our move. There was a mix up with the time (we were supposed to start at 10 am since we couldn't pick up our apartment keys until the afternoon and they were in-transit for an 8:30 am start) but they accommodated the mix up and waited so that we were not charged the extra hour and a half. They finished on schedule and the pricing was reasonable. Would definitely use them again!

Stay away! The team was late, inefficient, and unprofessional. I had to babysit them the entire time to ensure the move was completed in a reasonable amount of time. When I called to discuss my disappointing experience with the management team, they just didn't care.
I had used them before a few years ago for a move, and they were great, so decided to use again. They must have gone through a major staffing change because this was a complete 180.

This is the 2nd time I have used them to help me move... I refused to go anywhere else. Much like the first time these guys were amazing. Chris Steve and Alvin were on time professional courteous quick and treated my belongings as of they were their own. They were in and out of both apartments on time and never went over the quoted time. I truly enjoyed the moving experience (which most of you know how much of a pain moving can be) thanks to these guys. Id recommend them over and over again and would def have them help me again on my next move! Thanks again guys for all your hard work!!

Avoid them at all costs - bad quote/estimate, damaged furniture, and TERRIBLE customer service! Save yourself the headache and heartache and use another moving company...any other moving company would likely be better.

Used this company to move our house the end of September. Worst mistake. Broken items, arguing between themselves, one guy was hungover and useless so the job took about 3 hours too long. Called into the owner. Was absolutely no help. Offered me 100.00 refund which is a joke. I told him to keep it. Bad reviews are worth more. BUYER BEWARE!

First - they were able to accommodate my move on short notice when another plan fell through - so that was great.
The guys were right on time, and carefully wrapped the antiques, mirrors and art.
The move was very smooth, and actually took less time than the estimate.
As we all know, moving is hard.....so you need a great team!

The movers were fast, but they damaged my new house and passed it off like the insurance company would cover the damage. Gouged the corner so badly it dented the metal corner piece of the drywall. I look at this on a daily basis and get more frustrated each day. The new bedroom dresser has gouges on all sides, a marble table top 2x3 ft long has a big chunk missing off the top, most likely where the damage from the drywall came from.

This company lives up to its mission statement. To provide a quick and stress free move. The office agents Garland and Jonathan were a pleasure to work with. They were always available to trouble shoot any issues and very professional.
On the move day the crew showed up 10 minutes early and was ready to work. They were very efficient, but took great care with our belongings. We were on a very tight timeline and they made sure it was followed.
