Not sure how they got their review score up but I am certain it is not legitimate. You do not get an F with the Better Business Bureau by being a good company. In their response to my previous review, they told lie after lie - even insinuated that my previous company had performed a non-permitted install. Well, Plano has a website where you can look up your company and see if they pulled a permit when they replaced your equipment, so in addition to being liars, they are also stupid. They would know about this website if they actually were getting permits themselves. At any rate, I WATCHED

One of our units went down yesterday late afternoon, so first thing this morning we start calling around. Montgomery responded quickly and was able to get a truck here early afternoon. They diagnosed and fixed the problem promptly, and also checked my other units.
It was a very positive experience and we are thankful to find an honest service company. We were fortunate that they were able to get to us so quickly. Good job guys!

Our warranty company recommended them. They came out and fixed our AC problem. Our problem was not an easy one but they persevered to the end to get it right. Cannot ask for better service. Betty Montgomery probably got tired of me calling as no longer did the problem seem to be fixed when something else happened but they came out again and finally found the culprit.

I was in the market for two complete A/C system replacements and heard good things of Montgomery HVAC Service from a friend and since it's a local company I for sure wanted to give them a shot at my business. I also got quotes from some of the big A/C companies but their urge to upsell some overpriced solutions, pushing for quickly "closing the deal" was turning me away rather than wanting me to go forward. Montgomery HVAC offered by far the most friendly and professional consultation and worked with me on exactly what needs to be changed/upgraded according to my specific situation

We were assigned to Montgomery HVAC by our home warranty company (Old Republic) because our AC broke and it was forecast to be over a 100 degrees for the week.
When I called them they told me they couldn't come out to me for another 5 days, which is rather inconvenient. We didn't go with them since it's virtually impossible to wait for 5 days.
I honestly don't know whose fault it is here because each party points to the other,
1. Old Republic: They need to ensure that they have a wider range of HVAC companies on their roster (at least for the summer months) so they can guarantee

I would highly recommend Montgomery HVAC as they are committed to delivering trustworthy, quality and personal service. I have known the owners for 20 years and know first-hand their committed work ethic, which is rare to find these days. Last year my neighbors AC unit was making a loud and annoying clanking sound, as this neighbor had yet to move into this house it could be awhile before the unit was fixed, as a favor to me, Montgomery had taken a look at my neighbor's AC unit and worked their magic to fix the unit and stop the annoying clanking sound. They didn't have to do this

I was refereed to Montgomery earlier this year cause one of my units quit cooling. It still came on just blew hot air. The very friendly service tech arrived on schedule and found out very quickly that i just had a bad capacitor. He installed the new unit and I was back cool in no time.
What a refreshing result this turned out to be. So thankful for trustworthy companies like this. I would recommend and use again.

I had a fantastic experience with this company when they replaced my entire HVAC system. The furnace was 30 years old, so they had some pretty nasty grandfathered stuff they had to bring up to code, too. They are very polite and professional, and it's obvious they care a great deal about the quality of their craftsmanship. They definitely went the extra mile for me, and I am glad I went with Montgomery HVAC.

Excellent service! They came out and fixed our a/c on the same day. You can't hardly get a call back on the same day you call with some companies. We just moved to the area and came home Friday to a house that was 93 degrees! Not only were we facing a weekend of 100+ temps but we are always leery the first time we use a service company - thankfully Montgomery A/C didn't give me the run around or try to sell us on all sorts of other products. They came in, identified the problem, were personable and explained what they found, gave their recommendation, and fixed it. We are so pleased
