John TeSelle Architecture was founded in 2000 to provide imaginative, attentive, and careful design to both residential and commercial clients. Projects in Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, Illinois, and New York have ranged from small residential remodels to complete custom houses as well as hotels, schools, restaurants, apartments, and office buildings.
My practice is sized to allow me to provide personal attention to every job. I will attend every project meeting, coordinate all the drawings, write the specifications, and draw every detail on the construction documents. I hire engineers for their specialized expertise, but I do not hand off architectural design or management work to others.

Services
Client service is the center of my architectural practice. The needs and desires of my clients are the generators of everything that I do. The design and construction of a building requires a close working relationship between client and architect, from the first meeting through the final inspection.
Design is a communication process, and drawings are a means of communication for everyone involved in the project. My job as an architect is twofold - to give my clients the information and options they need to make good decisions and to communicate those decisions to the contractor. While designing a project with the client, I use three-dimensional views and walkthroughs to explore options and visualize solutions.
