Grandstand Design Enterprises, Inc. was founded by Christopher L. Howard initially for the purpose of being the regional representative of Southern Bleacher Company (Graham, Texas) servicing Maryland, Virginia and Washington, DC. Grandstand Design Enterprises begins furnish and install of Southern Bleacher bleachers and pressboxes as a subcontractor on regional K12 projects.
We obtain a Class A Virginia construction license and State of Maryland construction license and begin bidding work directly to K12 entities as a prime contractor. We begin marketing stadium related design/build services to the K12 and Higher Education construction community. Secures first major Higher Ed stadium project (Williams Stadium West Side - Liberty University).
Secures two phase contract to demolish and build new PE Stadium - Frostburg State University. Secures contract to relocate, renovate, and add pressbox to visitor stand- Salisbury University Seagull stadium. Secures construction contract for VIP Section - Akerson Tower - Navy Marine Stadium and design/ build contract for New Rugby Stadium - Naval Academy Athletic Association.

Meeting as necessary to establish Owner's concept of new facility or renovation of existing. Examine existing bleachers for the purpose of identifying issues related to code compliance, structural integrity, ADA compliance and safety. Provide written report which summarizes inspection findings, offers solutions and provides cost of work associated with correcting issues identified in inspection.
