The crew did an excellent job removing the old and installing the new quickly & efficiently and the clean up was very thorough. There were some issues with the installation of the skylights but they were all resolved to our satisaction and the whole project was completed in less than a day. We are very pleased with the new roof and skylights.
The insidious nature of hail damage is that it may pose no immediate threat to the structural integrity of the roof. However, many insurance companies have a "statute of limitations" of how long a hail claim is viable. If you have experienced a loss such as hail damage it is prudent to take care of the problem promptly, before leading to other associated problems.
In Ohio, the winters can slow down our installation process due to less daylight hours and adverse working conditions. Spring and fall rains only slow down the process, but really have no effect on the work itself. Still, summer is without a doubt the best time to install a new roof. Low leak tolerance means the "failure" decision is reached earlier.

After receiving roof damage from a tornado I was put in contact with Jason Taylor. He was very knowledgeable and up front with what repairs need to be completed. He took care of contacting the insurance adjuster and worked very closely with them to insure all the necessary work was covered under my policy. If you are needing any repair or replacement work done Jason would be the person the contact.

We had some storm chaser come by and try to talk us into a claim. We DID NOT go with the storm chasers who said that we for sure had damage but instead reached out to Van Martin. Dustin Karl with Van Martin came out was very respectful and explained about storm chasers. They tell everyone they have issues in hopes that one or two will actually get approved. And homeowners don’t realize that a claim is a claim regardless if work needs to be done. The storm chasers don’t care. I needed new soffits on the front of my house and larger 6" gutters to handle all the rain and leaves. I chose Van Martin to do this work based on their reputation and BBB rating. Although the process took longer than I expected, the work was completed to my satisfaction and everything looks and works perfectly. Van Martin does take a personal intertest in you, so you can rest assured that the work done is of a high quality and will last for years.

Actually had a few clay tiles that broke off from the front of my building. Jason Taylor handled our account and was excellent in following through from start to finish. He had to jump through hoops to located singular clay tiles, but took excellent care of us, and communicated throughout the process. Would highly recommend! 5 star service!

Dustin came out as scheduled and on time. He listened to our concerns and after showing him the area of the leak he was able to quickly diagnose the problem and repair it. Besides how long it took to get the gutters installed they look good and are doing the job. The installer was knowledgeable and did a good job. He did however, leave his drill and some screws behind. I’d use this company again.

Everyone I've come in contact with has been knowledgeable, kind, professional. They fixed our roof after we got taken in by a storm chaser roofing company and we have had no more trouble with it! Dustin was just amazing! Fixed our gutters while we talked, made it feel like having coffee with a friend! And, we just met Jim who was also kind and efficient. Van Martin never disappoints!!!
