I have had a great experience with Weiss Landscaping. I first met with Adam Weiss and Chris Horwath. They introduced me to Jan Fleming, a landscape designer. Chris, Adam, Jan and I worked together and came up with a good plan. When the work started, I got to meet many very nice people. Carl, was the foreman for the hardscape. Grant built the stacked stone wall. And then Eric and his crew did all of the landscaping. Moises, Rigo, and Milano were three of the crew that did the majority of the work. I was always kept in the loop re: the next step. Chris followed the action from the first day

After remodeling our mountain cabin about two years ago, we hired Weiss Landscaping to landscape the immediate surroundings. We had a few requirements:
1. We wanted a plan drawn up to represent our vision
2. Fire safety was an important factor
3. We preferred native plants
4. We wanted gravel walkways, a gravel buffer surrounding the house, and our circular driveway redone with crushed and compacted stone
5. Did we mention the water feature we also desired?

Had a great experience with Weiss Landscaping, we created a decomposed granite path, dog run and patio extension. The project included excavating plenty of hard packed clay soil that needed to be done by hand due to access constrains. The crew was hardworking, thoughtful and very considerate of noise and dust of the project. As we were concluding the project it became apparent that a few small boulders would really finish it off nicely. I made a quick call and we were able to incorporate those elements with no issue. Their price was on the higher end of our budget but it was certainly worth it

We recently moved to Alta Sierra into a newly constructed home which needed landscaping. Adam was very thoughtful in his recommendations considering the need for fast growing privacy trees and a walkway and patio in the backyard. My husband and I had an extensive job done about two years ago. Because of medical issues we weren't able to get the plants that we lost replaced within the year. I noticed that other things hadn't been done right, so I contacted Adam Weiss. I can't say enough about him. He fixed all the problems, it's clear that he cares a lot about the integrity of his company! He was very helpful and I appreciate him meeting with me and taking the time to solve the situation. Called this company, spoke on the phone with a man. Long story short: we never met with an estimator or recieved a call back. Oh, and my "favorite part" of the call was when this man asked for my budget and then after I told him he emphasized how it would cost "real" money. Yes, I am aware. Thanks. But no thanks for your service anyways.

We were very impressed with Weiss Landscaping. Chris did an excellent job of identifying what would work best for our location near Scotts Flat Lake and the placement of the trees and plants. We are looking forward to the fall to see the color from the new trees. Drew has be very good at followup and making sure the irrigation system works correctly and checking to see if the settings work for the each of the plants. Both are very easy to work with and were a pleasure to discuss the entire project. I highly recommend them for your landscaping needs.

Where do I start? Weiss Landscaping was nothing short of fantastic. We did a complete remodel inside and outside of our Alta Sierra vacation home. Weiss was the project manager for the all of the outdoor landscape work. They did the demolition. irrigation, lighting, plant selection and installation and handled the overall design of the project. They subcontracted for fencing, concrete and masonry. Chris Horwarth was a top notch designer and client liaison. His brother Drew served as the on-site crew manager. What a one-two combination. They always kept me up to speed on schedule and budget
