Our service is different from other painting companies because we make customer satisfaction our highest priority from start to finish. Building positive relationships with customers has been our focus from day one, and since opening in 2009, we have accumulated a long list of references, with repeat clients all over Mchenry County, Illinois.
Advantage Painting was opened for business in 2009 by owner Matt Goetz, a former union painter. In 2003, Matt joined the Chicago Painters Union as an apprentice, and completed the three year apprenticeship program at J.A.T.C. trade school in Berkley, IL, where he obtained his journeyman card. In the painters union, Matt worked for a large residential painting contractor for many years.
Advantage Painting offers a full range of professional painting services for your home. Our services include interior and exterior painting, kitchen cabinet painting, wallpaper removal, spray finishing, drywall repair, pressure washing and deck staining. We treat your home as if it was our own. All work areas are carefully prepared prior to painting for protection against sanding dust and paint.

Matt is an awesome painter! He’s very professional and did an outstanding job on my daughter’s room. The walls were a griege before and he painted them and the trim white. It was a lot of priming and several coats of paint to cover it all and Matt made it all look exactly how I envisioned it. We’ve already started booking him for another job. He is very polite and his prices are very fair. Highly recommend Advantage Painting Services!

My husband and I hired Matt to paint our staircase railings and banisters that were very outdated. He did an excellent job and we are very happy with the result. Matt painted our oak cabinets kitchen cabinets and they turned out great! We have also had Advantage do interior wall and stair rail/post/balusters painting and the results were excellent as well. Matt has great communication, very fast with providing estimates, and is always on time. Highly recommended!!

Highly recommend!!!! Matt did a fantastic job with my whole house (less basement). He was very clean and organized. Very polite, honest guy. He works with you to give recommendations as well. Matt did an excellent job painting our cabinets. He was very thorough from start to finish. He did a great job helping us select the paint color to match our existing trim and proper finish, and clearly explained every step of his process. Everything was on schedule and went according to his plan and the estimate that was initially provided. It’s obvious he takes pride in his work and was meticulous about masking and making sure all of the detailed areas were addressed. Plus, he is a great guy-very personable which is important when someone is working in your house for a few days. The end result

I just bought a really large house with a continuous open floor plan and ceiling. I hired Advantage Painting Services to Paint my entire downstairs (dining room, living room, kitchen, family room), laundry room, stairway, and loft. It all needed new paint. Matt's work was superb and absolutely flawless. Everything was patched and painted to the highest standard. Matt is very neat with his work and kept the whole house clean. I am really happy with the final product and would definitely look to hire Advantage Painting Services for any other future painting needs.

Matt recently completed some indoor painting for us. We were completely satisfied with everything. Matt gave us a great quote on the spot and began work quickly. He does great work, all the lines are straight and clean. Matt is very meticulous and doesn't miss a thing. He gave us an honest opinion on what work really needed to be done and was professional at all times. Matt was also very attentive to covering everything in the house and never made a mess.
