Samurai Painting is a painting contracting company in Southeastern Virginia owned by Charles Stenger and Nancy S. Huddleston. Our work is residential and commercial painting. We specialize in room and house makeovers (interior and exterior). We are trained in faux and decorative finishes. We use exclusive premium and specialty paints and we are a distributor and applicator of high performance paints and protective coatings.
Services
Charles Stenger, President, started Samurai Enterprises in 1995, after 20 years of industrial marine painting experience. He is U.S. Navy Ret., Master Chief Boatswainmate. Nancy S. Huddleston, Secretary/Treasurer, has a background in fine and graphic arts and layout and editing. She studied at The Art Students League, Parsons School of Design, and she trained in specialized Faux Finishes at The Finishing School, Inc. in NY.

Beware of this company! I had hired this company on a recommendation and toward the end of my home's project realized I had made a terrible decision.

At first, everything seemed to be going well. Charles and his crew showed up and completed two or three days worth of work and said they would be back Monday to finish. Well Monday rolled around, and the owner, Charles, gave me an excuse on why they couldn't make it, then Tuesday, another excuse, then Wednesday nothing, Thursday nothing, and Friday they showed back up to try and complete the job. We had some exterior painting done on our house after a tree fell on it. Charles came out to give an estimate which came in under the insurance estimated price. Charles told us how to wash the house before painting to save money on having Samurai wash the house. He even advised us that our siding would be better unpainted. This left me with the impression that Samurai is an honest company who does good work at a fair price who is not interested in up charging for unnecessary services. The painters did two coats over two days and where very clean leaving no signs that they where even there besides
