Tidewater Painting was founded in 2002 right here in Chesapeake, VA. We started out doing mostly residential repaints and a few new construction jobs. It wasn't long before we added pressure washing, deck staining and sealing, rotted wood replacement, wallpaper removal and more to our list of services.

I was so pleased with this company. Jeremy who is the owner was always so pleasant, professional, and he was easy to work with. The guys came out and did the job in 2 days and the clean up was great. I highly recommend this company!

We had much of the trim, doorways and a new staircase done in our home. They were able to quickly get us on the schedule and get started on our project We had new floors put in, so we were nervous about getting paint on them, but the team got them done quickly and really well done. House looks amazing. Very much recommend for painting jobs.

This is the first time we have hired professional painters and it was worth every penny. This company was professional, punctual, and friendly. Jeremey always got back to me promptly whenever I had a question, and I even had to change which rooms I was getting done last minute. We had the kitchen, den, master bedroom and 2 smaller bedrooms done and look AMAZING. I will be using them again in the near future for the other rooms in my house!

Nate and his team Cindy and Tony were excellent, a credit to their company. Thorough in their work, professional and courteous. Attention to detail and focus on customer satisfaction was at the forefront of their delivery. Very good people that respect the house and very pleasant to interact with.

We recently purchased our first home that is in need of interior painting. We researched local painting companies and found Tidewater Plumbing and their extensive list of positive 4 and 5 star reviews. Called and scheduled an appointment for multiple estimates and was scheduled for a visit within 24 hours. The estimate process was straight forward and easy. Jeremy had multiple and extremely fair and reasonable proposals emailed to me that same day

My house was built in 1984 - apparently when sparkly, popcorn ceilings with exposed wooden beams were all the rage. This particular ceiling is also vaulted, so it was not a DIY project.

Tidewater Painting did a superb job on our interior paint job. My husband and I are beyond pleased. It’s like we have a brand new house! Tracy, Nate, Edwin, and Oswaldo were professional, courteous, expeditious, & personable.
They did our living room, which had two story walls, eat-in kitchen, foyer (two story), upstairs landing, two hall ways, and all the trim & doors. They completed everything in two days. I was shocked how quickly they worked. We had dark green and orange walls. We wanted to go lighter to brighten it up. This company did not disappoint.

I re-trimmed my house and contracted Tidewater Painting to prep, caulk, paint, etc. (walls and trim) and they exceeded my expectations. I'm not a trim carpenter and they made my trim look professional! The crews were extremely reliable and friendly.
