Founded in 1968 by W. Cecil Carpenter, W.C. Carpenter started out as a wholesale distributor of flooring products. In 1988, W.C. Carpenter decided to incorporate installation into their service model. The company saw an opportunity, and realized the benefit provided to the customer of dealing with solely one company from start to finish.
W.C. Carpenter has been supporting the JDRF organization for close to 20 years. They are such an important part of our community with yearly walks, bike rides and fund-raising galas. Every year, W.C. Carpenter sponsors a team for the walk and we always look forward to the bike ride. JDRF is the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes (T1D) research.

My flooring committee has been struggling to find a commercial flooring place that will work with us on elevator flooring needs. W.C. carpenter pulled various books that met the codes for elevators. Both women that worked with us were extended helpful. This is the ONLY place in the area that has been accommodating. If you start with this company you won't have to look further.

Cecil and the flooring experts at WC Carpenter did a fantastic job renovating the floors at my office, which were 30ish years old and in rough shape. They installed new tile and carpet and the difference is night and day. They completed the 7k sq ft job in two days and were polite and professional. I would definitely recommend these folks for any floor renovation, and like supporting a small/local/family-owned company as well.

Working with the office staff is a pleasure! On top of all their other tasks they always insure product is correct and delivery is as scheduled. We typically have a number of flooring projects going at one time and of course we are just 1 of their many customers, the installation scheduling is always as promised. I am a commercial designer and I have had the pleasure of working with WC Carpenter on a few commercial projects and I would recommend them to anyone! They are so vastly knowledgeable about the correct products to use for any application. They always understand my design concepts. Their installation is impeccable!!!
