Mechals Painting

Jerrad recently painted the exterior of our home and our front stairwell. He did a great job and worked in extreme conditions due to summer heat and smoke from nearby fires. Jerrad was easy to work with and always responded to text and email regarding any questions or concerns. He was honest, hardworking, and very thorough completing the entire job by himself. We were extremely happy with his work and have received a number of compliments already. It is evident he takes a lot of pride in his work and I would recommend him to others without hesitation.

So I'm writing yet another review for Mechels painting after another great experience. Jared has painted the full interior of two of our houses and has now painted the exterior of our new home.

What sets Jared apart from other paint companies is the significant attention to detail that is placed on every job he does.

My neighbor and I both had our houses painted within weeks of each other. They had their house done first and commented on the amount of time Jared spent caulking and prepping the exterior. It took Jared longer to prep than it took the crew who did the neighbors house to complete

I cannot recommend this painter enough. He was extremely communicative before the job, and then completed the job as if it was for his own family. Extremely meticulous. Extremely professional. Cleaned up before he left. We are delighted. This was for an exterior gate. We will most certainly use him in the future for any painting job, both interior and exterior.

We are SO happy with Mechals Painting!!! We are DIY'ers who had nearly finished a large remodel project and needed a little help wrapping up the painting due to work demands. He started a couple days later than originally planned, but that is to be expected when quality is held at a high value. We came upon Mechals Painting in Yelp and had them paint some cabinets, walls, ceilings, doors and trim. Jarred's work was meticulous and of high quality. There were times when things looked fine to us, but Jarred was not pleased. He corrected this work and the result is that our home looks absolutely

We just had a wonderful experience with Jared painting part of our master bedroom and sitting room. He paid great attention to details. Even added an extra coat as the old color was dark!!!! I highly recommend him as he does beautiful work!

Overdue update-
We moved and called on Jared again to paint the interior and exterior of our home. The paint transformed the house in and out and as always Jared's work is top-notch. Several neighbors took notice and hired Jared for their jobs. We are happy to see him in the neighborhood keeping busy because he is an excellent painter, a hard worker, and a nice guy.

Perfectionist! That's the best way to describe Jarad. He's meticulous, takes his time to do the job right. It was a long day but he stayed until the job was complete. Taped off everything that required sealing off, caulked areas that were not properly done by the previous dwellers...something I didn't think could be remedied. Jared is definitely a master at his craft.

I'd taken possession of my condo June 10th. I'd painted all the living room, dining room and kitchen walls with the exception of the cut in, per an agreement with another painter who agreed to do that part

This is our second time having Mechals Paint do a job for us. Just like the first job this one turned out perfect! He had previously painted a couple bedrooms and just finished painting our front door today. The attention to detail is amazing, the paint turned out so smooth as if it came from the factory pre painted. I definitely will be using him anytime I need something else painted.

Jerrad Mechals is an exceptional painter. When I was looking for painters to tackle our very large job, I read his reviews and the word "perfectionist" kept being used to describe him. They were spot on! We had some tricky color transitions on bull-nosed corners and wavy ceilings and he painted a perfect edge, giving the illusion of them being straight even though the plaster is not.

He used very high quality paint and did as many coats as it took to get full coverage. He was also very accommodating with bringing us test paint samples to check colors and did a very good job cleaning

Seriously one of the best businesses in Folsom! Super responsive, reasonably priced, family owned, and excellent work! Jared quoted us super quickly when we sent photos and was able to squeeze us in 1 week later. Other places we called said they would take 3 months! He was able to move around some other jobs or get them done quickly - whatever his magic was - so that we didn't have to have half our trim painted and the other not! We tried painting it ourselves but it got a tad too dangerous and we didn't have the right ladders so we called Jared and he saved the day! Highly recommend

Jerrad Mechal just spent the day painting some rooms in our house as we get ready to sell. The guy was super professional, friendly with my family, easy going, made good conversation and I have nothing but positive things to say.

When he got here we asked him to add in another room to paint, a high ceiling-ed big bathroom with lots of crap to paint around. He gave me a great price to add on another room which was very fair. Jarrad did a great job painting the exterior of our house. I was relieved that he had a way to figure out selecting the paint color we wanted. The main way to describe his workmanship is THOROUGH. As a huge bonus he was very easy to communicate with and always responded immediately via phone or text. He works with his Father as well if he needs another hand. We felt confident with his experienced knowledge with how to paint and what type of paint is best. He has a relaxed yet focused demeanor which makes for easy, seamless and flexible interactions while he is working on your house.

Jerrad painted the entire exterior of our two story home (2700 sq ft) this past August (2018). He did a very good job painting it, as if it were his own home.
When preparing the exterior, Jerrad went over and above our expectations and did a super job! Because Jerrad is very through, our job took longer than expected, which was fine with us.
Even our neighbors were impressed with his work ethic.

We liked his work and personality so much, we just had him back to paint our kitchen and accent wall in our family room. There was a lot of cutting in and he did a great job!

Jerrad is extremely hard working and conscientious. Many times working till dark to stay on schedule. He was the only painter who could work within my deadline for a thousand less.

I've been stung with contractors who don't communicate or finish within a timely manner. Jerrad was accommodating and was true to his contract.

I'd rather not share him, but he deserves to thrive and excel.

Well, I guess I have to be the 'one star" guy on this company's review page. I want to first say that Jerrad was very nice, fast to respond to the estimate, and gave a fair quote for the repaint of my house. The job painting the exterior of my home was going to be tough, and ugly. We both knew it. But Jerrad's attention to detail and his comfort in speaking with me about the job assured me he was capable, and when the time came, he agreed to it.
