DON’T USE THIS COMPANY!!! I had scheduled a move from Los Angeles to Minnesota in October. They told me that they would call me a few days before to advise of time. This did not happen until I called them first. This should have been a red flag. On October 2nd, they picked my items. The movers were professional and polite aside from the fact they wanted to double the cost of my move upon pickup. Another red flag. They informed me that someone would call me within 21 days to schedule delivery. It is now the beginning of December and I have an empty apartment in Minnesota. I have called over 10

This move was with many boxes moved from the CA to TX, via quarantine & customs. Great communication along the way and delivered to my door by efficient & friendly staff. I have had many moves with Chess, full packing & moving a large house, short term & long term storage, then a move to a smaller house. Each time the staff have been fantastic and service outstanding. For the price & efficiency of their service, I will never pack myself again. Cannot recommend highly enough. Again thanks. Keep up the great work guys!!!!!!

The best movers I have ever used! Seriously, I’ve had some terrible experiences with different companies in the past. Alex and Victor arrived on time and ready to go! They moved quite a lot of large furniture from a third floor apartment to our new home and did so in a timely professional manner. I 100% recommend using this company and specifically Alex and Victor if you live in the California and surrounding area. Thank you to everyone from booking it to the movers for such a wonderful experience!

We have moved twice with CalState Moving & Storage now and both times the service has been superb. Moving is such a stressful thing so the calm confidence of Andres and his team, both in planning the move and executing it on the day, were so reassuring for us. The team worked swiftly and respectfully and we had no damages at all. Thomas support and flexibility around managing the booking was amazing too. Would not hesitate to recommend.
