If this review prevents just one person from using this company it will have done it’s job. 24 hours later and these bums have still not shown up. There’s absolutely no way that this is a five star company. Please do yourself a favor and use anybody else. As if moving isn’t stressful enough, these guys only make it 10 times worse. I will absolutely be reporting this company to the Better Business Bureau

I'm not sure if there was a change in management, but we had a near-perfect experience with S&S in Nola.
What can I say other than they showed up on time, they worked hard on a hot day, and delivered on time and on budget. They moved a 5 bedroom, 2700 sq' ft home for us and there was no significant damage to either residence or our possessions. This company's license (and we checked) is under S&S Moving so there might be a mixed up identity problem in the reviews here (see below). In any case, I would recommend this moving service.

James (#985-500-5883) the driver from
'College student movers' in Slidell, Louisiana (Northshore Area #985-845-2642) along with 2 of his colleagues was ok. However, looking back, I was billed 30min for the break that they took while on my dime, even though, I got 'em pizza and sodas. Also, the guys were strong but slow when it came to unscrewing/ dissembling beds, couches, etc and even slower when it came to put 'em back all together. Not to mention, they lacked proper tools like a drill? So basically you're slowing down the whole process to bill the customer for extra

Please be VERY careful about hiring and trusting this company. They are listed under many different variation of names and different numbers. I found them ridiculously unprofessional and unreliable and they almost completely messed up my moving out plans and cost me a fortune.
After calling early in the morning to try to get me to hire a third guy for a one bedroom move, they showed up late with a ridiculously oversized truck that wd have been more appropriate for a large house or a concert venue move (basically the size of half a city block). After they could not find parking, perhaps frustrated

This company sucks. Was two hours late. Me and my girlfriend moved most of it all they had to move is the furniture.it took them 4 hours to do a hour job. They were more concerned about how we were going to get payed .When I call the office ( which is not in Louisiana) to complain about it and they pretty much told me oh well. The manger I talk to has no people skills and should not have the job position he's in. He was very rude and unprofessional. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY they ruined most our furniture .they left a couch outside they couldn't get in now it's ruined. If u use

Stay away from this company. I was moving from New Orleans area to Baton Rouge last June 2016. Two gentlemen showed up, loaded, and unloaded my boxes to a new apartment. Two days later while unpacking my boxes and assembling my furniture, I found two boxes of books and parts (crossbars) of my desk were missing. I texted one of the movers, Cameron Ballam, and asked him to locate the missing properties. Mr. Ballam texted back the next working day confirmed that he located my missing properties in the truck, and asked me to contact the driver, Mr. Scott Dale, because he was a contractor and not

This company was okay. The movers were on time and efficent, but this company has tons of hidden costs they simply do not tell you about. I ended up paying 150 more than was quoted because of "a fuel surcharge", "12% insurance" , and other random fees. Their hourly rate is lower than other companies in the area but they will nickel and dime you and end up costing way more than necessary. I do not recommend them

Movers were courteous but very slow and inefficient. I've done this move before with the same exact furniture/possession, and involving 3 flights of stairs, this took 2 hours. Fast affordable college movers took and charged for 3.5 hours with NO flights of stairs involved. They also showed up 1 hour AFTER the estimated time of arrival.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hired them thinking it was a professional company and it was anything but. I was quoted $290 for moving a bedroom set and a tv stand from one house to another, simple right? I wound up being charged $575.00 because the guy moving the furniture had no tools to take apart the bed and the mirror on the dresser. These items were discussed when I booked the job. When they arrived at my home, the same guy refused to put the bed or mirror back together (also lost the screws). He complained that he was allergic to cats and had to get out of my house quick
